It's a stupid fucking argument.

If fans don't turn up the only people to blame are Sisu. It's their primary function and they've neglected it from day 1 as owners.

but a total boycott would have an effect. a full house would support sisus stance. a half hearted boycott (what's happening atm) is not achieving anything

It would make little difference over the 90% boycott now.

I didn't say that wasn't the case.

unfortunately, only a small few are willing to fight for their club. the rest look down on those and dismiss them as hooligans etc

I don't think that is true at all.

If staying away from games is fighting for their club then the action of 10k plus city fans over the past 5 months looks pretty positive to me.

People don't have to form a pressure group/ join in do they?

No that crowd was inflated by a large contingent of Luton fans today.
CCFC 'home' average 2353
Nuneaton home average 1159

A bit like the Britol City and Peterborough games then? I trust you're not happy with the situation where our "home" crowds are only twice Nuneatons

Sorry but I don't agree with the second sentence at all. I think the majority want the fight for the club, but there is only so much people can take.

At the end of the day there are more important things in life if it is going to cause people this much grief. It's human nature to lose interest/ get over an addiction (which is what it was to a lot of us fans that were still going) if it's taken away from you. Unfortunately it seems this detox effect is coming to a head.

Portsmouth lost 5-1 today. They are in freefall. They are about a similar sized club as us. Shows what could lie ahead unless things change

As are Swansea. But I guess not all club's are as lucky as us and owned by a hedge fund.

Yes, Swansea a great model always spend within their means and slowly rebuilt the club, without throwing money at the problem.

Unfortunately they seem to be the exception rather than the rule, the only other league clubs who are fan owned are Exeter, Wimbledon, Portsmouth and Wycombe wanderers all league two, the rest are all non-league.

Unfortunately they don't see it that way. They are still hoping to get the Ricoh at a knock down price. Unfortunately that will not be till the JR has been heard and that will be too late for us!

Frankly that's bullshit. Swansea effectively were handed a free stadium full matchday revenues and 30% of a management company. They would happily pay management fees its a massive competitive advantage they were given.

So, you are suggesting that CCC should have handed the Ricoh over to CCFC for nothing in spite of the investment which they had made into it?

Funny how matchday revenues were irrelevant yesterday but have made an appearance again today.

What have SISU have done to Coventry CityThe answer is:

Taken a club in the Championship with 15k+ gates promised us success and progress-- then got us relegated, Decimated revenue, sold assets whilst increasing debts, took us out of our City against everyones wishes, pissed off fans and other stakeholders; and have given is the vision of 3 years+ in Northants with 2k crowds and the false promise of a 7k seater Sisu arena.

They only become irrelevant in the premier league - as do matchday attendances. I've asked a question many times that no-one has answered;

Name a club with restricted revenues that has achieved promotion to the premier league. Teams with management fees certainly have.

Isn't that being looked into by a European commission as it might be illegal state aid?

I think sisu aka the illegal state aid police must be doing the investigation

A pitiful response. So tonight would you rather be a Swansea fan or a Coventry fan. Which council would you have preferred? Actually don't answer as I suspect the answer will really show what you are.

I put my club first. You clearly don't.

To be fair if I had been one of those embarrassingly defending SISU's actions and saying their tactics are actually good for CCFC.
I would probably be trying to change the subject right now as well.
