Turned it into a business obsessed with making money any other way than the only realistic way (success on the pitch)

SISU's first home game as owners in 2007 v Southampton att. 19,143

A 'home attendance' decline of 17,540.

Shameful.

I though you were saying i'd ruined the thread - think i was being sensitive!! Lol

Where I completely agree with GMK and others on here who may be give less blame to Sisu than I is that this disaster has been a relegation away since the 90's!

We have lived beyond our means for many many years and without someone or a company being willing to invest in the playing side of the football the only way is down and down.

There is no excuse for falling this far though and at the Ricoh with a sensible rent or buying into the freehold there is a successful championship sized club available

They took the club out of the city, alienated the fan base...all for greed, a total boycott of northampton is needed now.

SISU have reduced my home town club to a laughing stock.

I've supported this club for half a century, yet this afternoon I couldn't even be bothered to listen to the match commentary on my car radio. We're now in serious danger of relegation to the old 4th Division, and until SISU fuck off the downward spiral will just continue. The City of Coventry and CCFC both deserve better than these duplicitous scumbags.

As much as I agree it will never happen and neither will a protest of note. We've already seen that 2 ladies are the only attendees with any balls, nothing seem to come of andrea b's protest. They're made up from a bunch of nodding donkeys and that's all there is to it.

some retard text into CWR, the LC money has gone to cover the losses of sixfields, if we packed out sixfields, there would be money for the club to re invest.

so basically, the CCFC fans are to blame

Point of order-Obsessed with Freehold Ricoh and associated land acquisition it might be argued?

not the fault of the owners who have taken away £5m a year in net revenue by moving us to northampton - where even if we sold out every week would be £2-£3m

but a total boycott would have an effect. a full house would support sisus stance. a half hearted boycott (what's happening atm) is not achieving anything

I went to Nuneaton today, 2000 Luton there. Scary that Nuneaton are only 2 promotions away from City. Or put it another way City are only 2 relegations away from Nuneaton.

No that crowd was inflated by a large contingent of Luton fans today.
CCFC 'home' average 2353
Nuneaton home average 1159

Think this forum tells you all you need to know.... It's a hour after a game, this place used to be getting hammered with topics and replies after games, even more so after a loss.. Think people are starting to give up.. Sad times

i'd agree with that.

unfortunately, only a small few are willing to fight for their club. the rest look down on those and dismiss them as hooligans etc

The OP's question was 'what have SISU done to Cov City'

Well what they are doing is slowly killing our club purely for there own greedy ends, the selfish bastards won't stop until they get there wish or there is nothing left.

PLEASE SISU just FUCK OFF!

Energy, passion and fight has been slowly sapped over a depressingly long period so it is no wonder that people are just reaching the end of their tether. Couple that with the fact that there is no sign from any of the absolute monumental bell-ends involved in this nonsense that they are remotely concerned about the fans or club. The general break out of anger, frustration and apathy is completely understandable.
Still keep looking for a realistic, achievable positive ending to all this and can't see one.....
