I hope some of the posts on there re takeovers are correct, but what happens if by the FA meeting date of 2nd June to agree which teams can form part of their fixture lists we are in the same situation as of today?

No accounts filed
Transfer embargo
No commitment to finance the new season

Does anyone know what happens then?

Errm the same as would happen if we were taken over. We are still a team that is going to be competing in League 1 next season.

Well... I'll choose to see the silver lining in that no one can sign Richard Keogh!!

Without filing the accounts we have yet to prove that we can fulfil next season's fixtures. As such, failing to do this by that deadline means we run the risk of incurring penalties ranging from points deductions to expulsion from the league.

Thanks that was my fear that we either start with -10 points in Div 1 or go out of the league. I hope the powers that be get their fingers out we only have 3 weeks left.

It's fairly obvious that SISU are now employing the same tactics used when they 1st took over at city, namely to push things to the last possible deadline in order to get other negotiating parties to cave in to their demands. I have a feeling that this time everyone is wise to this and will call their bluff, leaving the club in no man's land regarding it's future viability. Make of that what you will !
