Certainly wouldn’t be doing it lightly to be clear. My wife has gone from not really following football to saying she loves the club. It’s been a big part of my life for about 25 years but Saddle is right above, once the hope isn’t there anymore it doesn’t feel worth going.Following CCFC has become such a beloved part of my life and central part of my routine, and I've made so many friendships I wish to keep, that I can't imagine not renewing my ST as long as I can afford to.
Not going up this season after the lead that we had at the top would be pretty fucking gutting and I'm under no illusions that there would be a mass exodus - definitely MVE, Rudoni, EMC and Wright but probably Lampard and possibly even King will all leave - but I'm there whatever form the club takes.

There's no judgement from me to you or anyone else and I apologise if my post came across that way; we all have but one life to live and the right to do what we want with our time and money, after all. I think for some with the ST it would just maybe be a case of 'whats the point' when seemingly especially after this season it seems we will never ever do it
That’s quite literally what he’s said the strategy is. If we don’t go up this year though we’ll have made 3/5 playoffs and not gone up so
Oh I didn’t take what you wrote in that way at all buddyThere's no judgement from me to you or anyone else and I apologise if my post came across that way; we all have but one life to live and the right to do what we want with our time and money, after all. Just giving my perspective
No not at all, everyone buys an ST in the hope that this is the year
-But when you lose on Penalties in a play off final
-Lose in the 123rd minute of a play off semi final
-Bottle the biggest lead ever seen in the championship and not go up
-slightly different but get cheated out of an FA Cup final
You probably start to think that maybe you're destined to never get the success deserved
Just how I see it. We were there in League 2 and always had hope it would turn. There's always hope, even in days far darker than these, there was hope.

The difference is that this is the best chance the club will ever get. Blow it and it just never will happen.
I don’t agree, which is why I’ve come to that decision if what looks likely to happen ends up happening. And a lot of the things we hoped for came to fruition, that can happen again.
His win percentage is good but I think he's far too maverick for this level. Could see him losing the dressing room and randomly falling out with people, including the owner.Ah yes, the same Le Bris who took Sunderland on a poor run of form after being top?
I’d look at Robbie Savage.
Didn't King state the 5 year plan in the summer after the 2023 play off? That’s quite literally what he’s said the strategy is. If we don’t go up this year though we’ll have made 3/5 playoffs and not gone up so
Good job you weren’t born in Rochdale
Great away day just before covid that was
Sounds great! His win percentage is good but I think he's far too maverick for this level. Could see him losing the dressing room and randomly falling out with people, including the owner.
The club is in the best shape it’s been in for 25 years.Certainly wouldn’t be doing it lightly to be clear. My wife has gone from not really following football to saying she loves the club. I agree. And in that best shape, it took a 13 point lead at the top and pissed it away. The club is in the best shape it’s been in for 25 years.

‘It never happens for people like us’.
course we can were acshually building a club now and were still top anywayFair enough.
Though if we can come back from L2, exiles, the shit owners, the hostile council and most of all, Russell Slade, we can come back from this, (if we fuck it up)
Think I'm a chunk older than you mate, so at least your odds of seeing it are considerably higher than mine! Hopefully we both get to see it, and I might try and stubbornly hang on until i'm about 105, so if it is in a few decades time, my then 93 year old wife can push me in a wheelchair to watch the celebrations!Nah. We keep buying them in the hope we see it being ‘our’ season. Blowing promotion like this would confirm in my mind that it never will be.
I agree. And in that best shape, it took a 13 point lead at the top and pissed it away.
and that’s what makes the good times even better. Keep believing, if not now, then there will be another time.No not at all, everyone buys an ST in the hope that this is the year

No, the Le Bris, who despite the wobble, led Sunderland to playoff success and has done very well in pretty much ensuring Premier League survival and is only 6 points off for a place in Europe.Ah yes, the same Le Bris who took Sunderland on a poor run of form after being top?
I’d look at Robbie Savage.
