7 years here. What good have they actually done for our club?

We can all name bad things but what good? I really can't think of anything

The problem is that in theory some of their ideas are good... but the execution is appalling.

Having it's own stadium and being self sufficient is what we should be doing... but they've made an awful mess of trying to get there, and not made much progress.

they gave us that nice 1960s style kit a few years back

Sacking Stephen today was step 1. Step 2 is to leave. Then they could be hero's.... just for one day.

That's because there isn't anything and that will continue for as long as these leeches remain at OUR club.

And the yellow away kit... best one we've had in years.

They have extended the life of the club beyond its natural duration.

Whether that's good or bad depends on your perspective.

7 years of farcical mis-management at boardroom level;
i cannot think of 1 thing that they have done well,
with them gone you would triple the attendances overnight

Developed Callum Wilson. Bigi and Cyrus.
Signed Westwood, Gunner, baker, fox and Dann.
At this level signed DMC and Clarke.
(On the flip side let all the above slip through their fingers)

I would say so straight away.
With a new owner who genuinely wanted success on the pitch above all else. You would double attendances after a few months.

Really? No, get a bit of a bounce, but doubling and trebling will never happen regularly, if at all, in League One.

And how do you measure an owner who genuinely wants success? Someone who throws money at the problem until they get bored... or broke?

With what we know now I would rather we had gambled and gone into full blown admin in 2007 and waited to see if someone else picked up the pieces. SISU have invested it's true but they gave too much money to some managers and too little to others.

I'd have always rather we did that.

Like it or not though, the only reason we were ever attractive to the likes of SISU was because the foundations of the club had been ripped away.

How do people know what would happen if SISU left?, you can all try and guess, but you just don't know. Pointless argument.

Isn't pointless argument the whole reason for Internet forums?

Absolutely nothing, the quicker they go, the better off the club will be!

Only if they want to live like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day.

There is less crowding at the turnstiles and the queues at the club shop are a lot shorter

1: Balanced the cash-flow
2: Broken the crippling rent contract
3: Prioritized the academy

They still need to
1: Build a stadium
2: Stabilize the team with a spine of experienced players
3: Turn around the losing mentality that's been with this club for 2 centuries
4: Get the supporters back

I think they have got the finances under control, hopefully this is a prelude to selling on a company that is solvent, but in strictly footballing terms and their relationship with just about everyone they have to deal with their tenure has been disastrous.

Kept it going. Downward but still going. It remains to be seen how they exit.
