Just curious as to the general feeling right now. I’ve not made it to St Andrews as not been in the country but looking forward to it when I’m back. Never liked the Ricoh, shit match day experience and atmosphere and even worse since Wasps bought it.
Heard a few texts that were sent in saying will never watch outside the city etc etc so, what do people want?
short term maybe this season not an issue, but i will not renew next season unless we are back at homeDifficult poll. I can’t bring myself to vote for playing at St Andrews for 3-5 years. The quality of the pitch suits our style of play but that aside, I’m someone who isn’t really enjoying the St Andrew’s experience. Distance wise the drive isn’t the worst but has anyone had our experience of crazy driving once you get near St Andrews? We were nearly taken out three times yesterday. It was scary - and our driver is an experienced and very good driver. The seats are thin plastic and there isn’t enough leg room. Really uncomfortable. We’ve moved from our season ticket seats and talked to a few people yesterday who were similarly moving trying to find a more comfortable spot. We actually had a hypothetical conversation yesterday about would you renew next season if still at St Andrews. There was a view of ‘promoted definitely yes, still in League 1 I’d think about it’.
Pretty sure, with some very sad exceptions ( mobility Etc) most can go. It’s that they choose not to. The “away game only” crowd is a smokescreen, it’s only a handful.
That vast majority of those not going have simply chosen not to travel to Birmingham, they just don’t feel connected enough

People screaming out for them to show the public the plan but in doing so that would severely weaken their position so actually I am happy that they do not do that. Not sure what you’ve said above in response to that
The EFL have asked to be updated about their ground plan every three months, I make that early November. If we believe barmy Boris we’ll be out of the E.U then. a coincidence perhaps?

There isn’t a stadium for us to play in in Coventry and we don’t own one. How could we be forced to move back to Coventry when there is nowhere to go?
The day that the Ricoh was sold has been leading up to this and is the one action in all of this that has had the most impact to cause severe long-lasting damage, even once SISU are gone.
The fact some supporters even applauded the sale of the Ricoh is mind boggling.
We have been to all of the games at St Andrews and have had the same experiences as yourself with regard to drivers. On every occasion we have seen crazy driving, young male drivers each time in the Small Heath and Bordesley Green areas. This includes jumping red lights, being over taken on single carriageway busy roads, ignoring lane direction arrows and u-turns performed at will in busy streets. Are they just taking advantage of lack of police? It would be interesting to look at the accident statistics for inner city Birmingham which are surely way above the national average. You only have to look at the way the EFL have fucked up dealing withBolton and Bury to see they don’t have a backbone to do anything positive. All they are interested in doing is protecting themselves.I don’t get it. Do fans think we as a club can go on like nomads from town to town to play and survive. Just a thought, What happens if we are fortunate enough to get promoted this year? Surely gates of 5k or 6k at Birmingham won’t be any where near enough to cover a championship wage bill, let alone to attract the better quality players needed to survive in the championship.
So the question is, would promotion, and the possibility of 15k or even 20k crowds at the Ricoh, change people’s view in favour of a swift return?

I think it would be all the more difficult for the club . We'd get slightly higher gates but proportionally less than we would at the Ricoh. If we were to struggle I think the supporters would soon lose patience with the idea of remaining outside Coventry. There's a mini premier League in the championship and we cannot compete anywhere near the likes of Derby, Birmingham, Cardiff, Middlesbrough, Stoke , Charlton, Forest, Sheffield Wednesday, west brom, Bristol City, Huddersfield in terms of revenue from our supporters.Just a thought, What happens if we are fortunate enough to get promoted this year? It’s actually really easy. We just indemnify wasps for potential multi million pounds consequences if the eu business comes to anything and put the future viability of the club at even more risk. Job done!I've gone for option 3 as that's more likely than CCC and SISU behaving like proper business people in working together to sort us out a new ground (if the space is there). I just want us to be playing in Coventry. I'm not fussed if that's at the Ricoh, Butts or the Memorial Park at present. How that happens is above my pay grade but it shouldn't actually be that difficult to achieve.
