I'm in the swing of things with these polls now. Interested to know what the generational split is of SBT users.

Would have been 60s, but I can't remember. First game was at the end of 1972. Can't remember that either.

Is 1970 in the ‘70s or the end of the ‘60s ( I usually start counting with one rather than zero).

Also if the season crosses a decade boundary where do you pick?

Asking for a philosopher friend.

1970's I used to watch the last ten minutes of every home game when they opened the big gates at the corner of the west end/thackell street.

90s for me. First game I am certain was a 0-0 against Wimbledon, however I remember Gary Mcallister playing and I cant find a 0-0 draw with him in the squad. I remember Richard shaw missing a sitter near the end

1984 - 1st game in the kop with my dad as a 5 year old, my mum didn't know that he took me and went mad when we got back home - remember that more than the game itself !!

1984 - I can remember writing a letter to Bobby Gould. He was sacked a few days later.

could well have been, only one I can find is 98 but Mcallister wasn't in the squad. Maybe I've mis-remembered him playing.

There was this game, which I had misremembered as 0-0 - Coventry City v Wimbledon | 1994/1995 | Premier League | Overview

Same! I thought it was 0-0 up until the other day. It was the first game the East Stand opened.

Not sure why you've asked me - perhaps as I said I was originally a Liverpool fan as a youngster?

But anyway...my mum met my step dad in around '85 and I was young and impressionable so decided to follow his team, Cov.

First game was vs Millwall, around 88 or 89 I think.

3-0 v Boro, 28th Dec 96. All I remember is it was fucking freezing and being excited because we had a blanket and a flask of Oxtail soup at HT, nothing about the game.

First Game was vs Newcastle at HR, 1996/97, won 2-1 with Huckerby scoring. My grandad took me to the game and I was hooked, now I'm doing the same with my lad.
