By my reckoning they have nothing. Players go for free in such a situation for a start...

The fixed assets on the balance sheet at 31.05.10 total about £1.27m.
The club still own Ryton, the land alone there must be worth a small fortune.

That's true but if your thinking of buying throne off sisu you would offer them a fraction of what its worth and then your laughing as sisu don't have a clue.

If we were liquidated it wouldn't be up to SISU. A liquidator would be appointed to collect as much revenue as possible for all the remaining assets. He would have full control over all the properties owned by the company.

Just making the point that liquidation isn't an option

The Ryton land isn't worth a fortune, i am sure planning permission for housing was turned down years ago, in Richardson's days. Whether things have changed since the old Peugeot plant was flattened i don't know but that Peugeot site i do know is registered a brown field site, for industry only.

So Sisu could sell Ryton tomorrow if they wanted to. It wouldn't raise much and in a liquidation scenRio is about the only Sset of value they could sell. So liquidation is pointless.
