I think it's going to be a positive season. That's not just based on today, cause we are obviously still short of players in key areas.

I have faith though that TM will find the players he seeks and that will only improve the squad further.

Not wanting to piss on all on chips here, but what could obviously go wrong is in injuries to key players. Reda or Ricketts injured and we could be in big trouble. That would almost certainly mean Aaron Martin coming into the equation and for me the bloke is a bit of a liability and doesn't offer the same presence at all.

Worried too if Vincelot gets injured, though I am hoping Bryn Morris will be able to fill that role.

Our defence looked very solid yesterday, but although I think Willis can do a decent job in the centre of defence, it was quite clear to see just how important Ricketts and Reda are to the side.

Yesterday was only the first game. We will face different and better opposition. V quick forward might pose ricketts n Johnson problems and as Otis says injuries make a difference.
It will be interesting to see how TM sets his sides up differently to face the opposition and crucially how quick the players adapt week on week.
As I've said before I am excited this season not because of where we will finish (I'm still going for upper mid table) but because of the exciting football we will watch.

When I was a lot younger my friend used to turn up at my house before a big night out with 4 Stellas and a bottle of tequilla and say 'what could possibly go wrong'? No comment.
