Ah the Summer of 76, jogging around delivering milk on the weekends, the excellent Joan Armatradings Love and Affection ringing out from the van and the Sun beating down. Followed by a couple of Cold Lagers in Canley Club as we finished.

I was a mere 1yr old in 76, but I was born in a house three doors down from the Canley Club.

Heard the brilliantly emotive Sunshine on Leith tonight.
That and their cover of My Old Friend the Blues give them a different flavour to their more Stompy anthemic hits.
They really could be my cousins.

I went to see them in the Acoustic tent at Glasto in 2015 (on my own because the people I was with obviously have no taste) not only the highlight of my Glasto that year but one of the best live bands I have ever seen, I will admit, I got a little emotional when hearing 'Sunshine On Leith' played live.

I've never really noticed, but now you mention it, they are strikingly similar?

I saw them live a couple of times years ago when their first album came out, great band. Saw them again about 10 years ago and they still had it.

It's nice, Oxygene 16 is a particular highlight. He has the sound just right, not not too clean and modern. Not a patch on the original album but still a great listen. I asked for the vinyl for Christmas and wasn't disappointed.

Don Henley - The End of Innocence.

Very tame compared to my usual tastes, however I do enjoy Don occasionally. The track he did with Axl Rose is still really, really cringe worthy though.

My Vitriol - Always Your Way

Fantastic single, though it's hard to pigeon hole their style to one genre.

Loved Kissing The Pink. That was a cracking single/album despite being a SAW production. They were on TOTP on BBC4 last night doing Last Film. I have loads of unreleased mixes and demos (from all albums) if you ever want a copy.
