Are Dark Side of the Wall still going? They were a Coventry based, brilliant Floyd tribute band when I lived in Cov.

I see there is a Bowie tribute at the Belgrade next week. No idea how good the bloke is, but he looks the spit from the posters I have seen.

Been revisiting a bit of John Cooper Clarke, I forgot what a good album Snap, cackle and bop was. Always knew the lyrics were great but musically it's fantastic.

They didn't have a female singer when I first saw them play. She came along a long while after. I first saw them at the Triumph Social Club in Tile Hill in about 1997/98. There wasn't a sax player back then either. John Wall was the lead guitarist (Dave Gilmore role), Barry Page was the drummer and Stuart Cosgrove was the vocalist. I reckon they've all left by now though. John was talking about giving it up way back in the early 2000's.

Started listening to Oasis first album yesterday for some unknown reason - still brilliant.

Also, Van Halen have cropped up again. The first two albums

The support at the catfish gig last night was brilliant
July talk
They're Canadian.
Gonna spend the weekend checking them out, they rocked well, and remind me of a heavier arcade fire

They must be good then.
That's one to add to my list then Otis, how could I forget Arcade Fire, two or three excellent albums.
Also have a few Flaming Lips albums.
Surreal almost childlike quality about them.

Yeah, him and Hugh Cornwall. Haven't heard anything from it yet.
I think he might be singing on it, he's actually got quite a good voice.

Really enjoyed it all day. Had Pump up the Jam blasting out last night.

Tonight I've had TCR/I can tell 12 inch by the Sleaford Mods and I'm now onto Dinosaur Jr's latest album.
