Ricoh lettering being covered up, staff told not to wear any clothing with the sponsor showing.

Will be weird not saying Ricoh Arena after all these years.

It's because there's an event on. It sounds riveting. It's Print Week Live.

"Bosses ordered the cover up as the “Print Week Live!” exhibition rolls into the Ericsson Exhibition Hall, along with a large number of exhibitors who are competitors of Ricoh.

A Ricoh Arena spokesman said: “Print Week Live is exhibiting at the venue from Monday, March 6 to Friday, March 10 and as part of this specific event they are temporarily branding many elements of the business and stadium.”

It’s not the first time signs at the venue have been covered up. Bosses previously blanked out logos in 2012 when Olympic football was hosted at the stadium .

That was at the request of the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games and even extended to covering up manufacturers’ logos on urinals."

Why are Ricoh Arena signs being covered up?

Ah sorry, just seen that it's an event. Still the contract with Ricoh is just rolling isn't it?, surely it will be named something else soon?

The best thing about this ,is that Ricoh are probably getting more publicity by it being covered up ..than just leaving it

Whatever you call it, still reminds me of an overgrown cattle shed with the dull corrugated walls at the back.

Hard to believe that something that promised so much for the future prosperity of our club,
Now looks like playing a fundamental role in our demise.

I can't believe after the thread about why the Ricoh sign was covered up on Monday, this thread has 30 replies on the same subject on Tuesday.
