Is it not worth a poll ?

I) are you a member of SBT ?
2) do you agree with their current approach ?

Just put one up.

@Nick How many hits a day does SBT get? It seems significant, for a club of our size to me. If that is correct and this poll turns out one way or another, surely it would paint something?

Genuine question- when was the last time the trust actually created a successful outcome? I'm not counting protests that failed, btw.

There have been some, even on Twitter there were hundreds who said they aren't representing them.

Strange, no notice was taken.

I'd say the mm arch when we last returned, but not sure how heavily the return was influenced by them. It was however seen as positive at the time. Since then nothing uit apathy, division, downright futile bile and a pointless agenda.

Almost like there needs to be focus on it every time announce / post anything.

Hundreds who say they don’t represent them, sadly that still leaves them with a message that over 2000 do

I can't get my head around the Trust at all. Wasn't Neil outed as saying fans were thick or idiots last year?

How come they enter into little to no dialogue on here? It makes sense that for anything to be succesful they've got to be open to debate and so on? They cant claim to represent the fans which such small numbers of membership compared to the amount of fans? Never see them at games? Never see them flyering or touting for memberships?

Yep, people on forums are idiots.

He refuses to engage with people, when he does he just embarrasses himself and gets found out.

The two protests / marches in town were very good, although I wouldn't say they had much to do with a successful outcome.

Last thing I can remember is raising some funding for the academy but I think that goes way back to when Hoffman and Elliot wanted to shut it down and might have been the previous incarnation of the trust (the Natalie Cox days).

SBT (the forum) has 7,500 members and I would say has more active members as of now than the Trust - therefore a larger voice of the fans

Its an absolutely ridiculous article as the only thing it doesn't mention is the one thing that needs to happen to get us back in Cov!

They can't claim ignorance as they've had people repeatedly requesting they go after Wasps on the indemnity but they are just ignoring it. They even give a pat on the back to the council and Wasps while criticising the club.

Beyond a joke.

Yep, Neil keeps ignoring it completely.

They are being far too obvious about their agenda now.

That's lunacy. That kind of comment from someone in his position, in any organisation would normally result in them stepping down.

Forums, like social media are open to people from all walks of life and people who all have different opinions. We've all disagreed with each other loads of times. Doesn't mean we are idiots...just different!

Yet the 20 people who sit in the pub and pat each other on the back and representative.

He has no intention of engaging with fans, just doing a pr job and a very obvious one at that.

The 3 specific sites the council has discussed with the club's agents are?

Neil said the Trust has 2,700 members. I wonder how many are active. Apparently it cost a one off fee of £1 to join: there is no ongoing subscription. I would imagine a significant number of people would have parted with a quid in the early days because it seemed like a good thing to do. Unless members who no longer share the aims and ideals of the Trust take action to rescind their membership, presumably they are still in the 2,700. There are no current minutes ( since March 2019), notifications of meetings or agendas on their website. I can find no details of elections to the board - it would be interesting to know how many members actually voted which would be some indicator of the true level of support and engagement with fans. Are they representative of the average fan - methinks not.

The trust really are out if touch fans who are doing nothing for the best long term interests of the club they profess to care about. Why not pressure wasps about their desire for CCFC to indemnify them just in case they are found to have acted illigally with the help of the council? That angle requires work and a level of intellectual cunning to see what potentially might have gone on. Far easier to be anti SISU than consider other avenues and the CET mop it up like a porn star with a broken washing machine.

In a digital age surely other methods of interaction between supporters should be considered alongside the 7pm in a local pub crowd every now and again!

It would be the council who have acted illegally with wasps the beneficiary of that act. Hence no legal action has been, or will be, taken against wasps.

I’m happy one can argue the toss about whether it’s legal action or not. I think given the ccfc statement and wasps lack of comment that we can assume the content of the ccfc statement is correct. Another thing I’m struggling to understand is why the non disclosure agreement? Who does it protect and for what reason?

I joined the trust last week. As I wanted to actually hear what they do. CJ very kindly did it over email. (due to you not being able to do it online) and then has to pass the details to someone else to set up membership

Unfortunately that was the last iv heard. No login details or anything. It should not be that hard to even join.....

I'm a member but as far as I'm aware these days the only way to be active is to turn up for one of their increasingly rare Monday evening meetings. Think they get about 20 people there.

Besides that you're lucky to even get a email saying what they're up to let alone be asked for any input. Any members who try to put forward an opinion get ignored.

7.5k members on SBT. 2.7k Trust members and I can't help but feel the vast majority of those aren't active hence their 20 people meetings.

Can we open any sort of dialogue with the club directly? Or is there any sort of over reaching body that liases with trusts, do the EFL have anything? Can anyone here, who knows their onions from a legal point of view draft a letter which we could all individually send with personal details changed, send to the EFL/the club?

I, Purple Bin don't acknowledge the Sky Blue Trust etc.

Yes there is, the FSA. Their National Council includes former Trust secretary Roger Ellis.
