i got home from a cancelled creamfields to see a 2-2 draw with bury and the manager sacked ! not the best of weekends i could of imagined hahaa!
It was clear to see he had lost the dressing room with ex players and current players. Lets hope shawsy can kick some life in to them over the next couple of weeks.

Can anyone give me a summary of how the day panned out with this news? What has fisher and co said?

At least you dodged a bullet with creamfields. Glad he's gone if only for the reason that I won't have to read too much more about 'Thorn haters' or 'Thorn Lovers'. That shit just got tedious in the end.

Someone posted on here that he had been sacked, it was made official about 20 minutes later. Linnell said that he sounded relieved. Official statement says that it's not only the results that have seen Thorn lose his job. Rumours of dressing room unrest.

I had been out all day heard the news on 5 Live, to be honest I was totally shocked, did not see that coming.

Wow... surely it must be his tactics etc that lost him the dressing room? But there are a lot of new players here. After 3 games they had enough of him?

He never signed a contract though did he? It was a rolling contract?
