Fox's cross for their 3rd goal was outstanding, but the defending for all 4 were very poor

It was sublime, but he was picking out an unmarked man. We made them look good at times, and McPake looks like he's absolutely finished as a player. Why did they offer him a long deal? And I was a big fan of his! About 18 months ago...

I think he only got a 1 year extension to his current deal, not sure how long that means he is here to though.

I thought I'd read he was now on a 3 year deal? He looks like an ex-footballer, sadly. Cameron was trying to carry him.

McPake also had the added pressure that his contract was up next summer, and having never been able to string a sustained spell of games together at City because of injuries – his first 12 months having been hampered by a double hernia and dislocated shoulder, both of which required surgery – it was questionable whether he would get a new one.
But the club backed the player with a one year extension to keep him at the Ricoh Arena until 2013.

OK fair enough. I guess he wouldn't be near the team if he was ready. Probably the same with around half of our players fitness-wise, certainly Deegan, who was a shadow of the player he'd been before his latest knock.

Problem is, when will McPake be ready? Ever? Sometime next season? You could probably say the same about McDonald and Deegan. Cody was so lazy first half, he constantly marked space between men, has no positional awareness, and tries less than Freddy!
