I now know that any one I think is going to be a good Manager will most likely be crap.

I thought originally AT was up to the job, how wrong can you be.
Then I thought give Carsley to the end of the season to prove himself, but after yesterday I can see I was wrong again.

MR was not one I would have chosen, but look at the job he did.

So now out of the list of possibilities I do not know who I would chose, I do not fancy Phil Brown, so if he is the man I bet he gets us promoted.

2 wins out of three isn't that bad for a man who doesn't actually want the job.

Exactly, hes not there cause he wants to be, hes there cause hes been asked to help us out in the meantime. So back him to new manager comes along or scare him away

We need more than ever now, an experienced manager until the end of the season. A short term deal dare I even day for Phil brown would be ok, but if we somehow managed to get up they would unfortunately give it hum permanently.

Are you insane, Phill Brown would be a ludicrous choice, the guy is a complete "bulb" can you imagine our lot sitting on the ground being ticked off by Brown.
Not now, not ever !

We are not in a position to employ an Interim Manager. If the decision is to wait till the end of the season then just let Carsley carry on, but I think that will mean we will drop down the league.

We should be looking to getting our first choice in place by next week 1. to give them a crack at chasing the rest for top 6 (however unlikely that looks now) but more importantly 2. to give him the chance to look at the current squad and decide who he does and does not want before close season and start looking at who he wants / can get in for next season.

This time we need to get it right and should be looking at a 3 to 5 years appointment as whilst the Robins episode could not be helped by the club, we desperately need stability.

Too long I'm afraid. 3-5 years is a lifetime in this game and we need to adapt a way of playng that can be continued seamlessly like swansea have. We can't afford to wait until the summer either and we need experience, a much better propoosition for other managers if we are inthe championship.

That seems to be what Fisher and Waggot have hinted at. I can see that whoever is next with be of the same ilk as Robins. The trouble is, there aren't many of them out there!!

Who ever gets the Job will need a little time to bed into the Club. Even though MR left in a dash I still am thankful he was at our club as we were in deep shit when he arrived and got us well and truely out of it.

We need a firm experienced hand now to steer us on for the rest of the season and build for next. I am not ruling out the play offs yet I am happy with safety in this division after what can only be described under AT a calamity start to the season

My bet is Keith Curle. There Weds and again yesterday. I'd be totally underwhelmed if he was appointed. Then again I was pretty underwhelmed when Robins was,

Think you will find that AT drew all 3 and did not lose any, the calamity was the run of defeats under Shaw.

According to CWR an appointment will be made by Friday this week. Denis 'the menace' Wise was also mentioned as a strong candidate. Not sure about Wiseys managerial credentials though as his major success whilst in management was when he was teamed up with Gus Poyet. He could be the motivator that we need however as I believe that he was quite influential in the dressing room during his short stay here.

Interesting that Pressley's odds have come in again. Somebody's backing him, and he popped up as the favourite initially. I wonder why.

When I first saw the now-infamous half time on-pitch team talk, I absolutely loved it. Was very surprised that everyone else thought it was stupid!
