Tbh it was nice and refreshing in my youth that most of my school mates supported local sidesFunny that, Cov for a long time has been Man Utd/Liverpool/Arsenal territory. Was even the case at school when we were in the Prem.
Not so much now of course
not a fucking chanceTbh it was nice and refreshing in my youth that most of my school mates supported local sides
I would much rather take stick of a Villa or Blue nose than a Man Utd fan who has only ever been to Old Trafford on a Stadium Tour
At school in the 90s and 00s it was unusual to support Cov, most supported the ‘big’ teams. Then in the late teens as we went down the divisions the kids I taught switched towards Cov. Don’t know why getting worse prompted the switch but it was good to see.Tbh it was nice and refreshing in my youth that most of my school mates supported local sides

I mean this in the nicest way as i still have some mates from Tamworth and had a couple of girlfriends from there back in the day too, but there are some people from there, honestly, i'd never met anything quite like them before. Don't know what the PC term is... specialYeah, been Tamworth pretty much all my life other than when I was at uni
It is mostly Villa territory, they are harmless enough but annoying when they are winning a few
Most of my friendship circle are actually Blues, it is good natured with them but I can't stand the wider fanbase, especially the ones they have attracted recently
Wrong side of Birmingham for many Wolves or WBA fans - Did notice a few Wolves tops sprinkled about in the Nuno years but they have gone into hiding now
You took them up the Snow Dome didn’t you? Oh I hate Blues and Villa more than the 'big' clubsnot a fucking chance
it's proper weird why people get upset about fand of clubs that really couldn't give a fuck about us
hate blues and villa far more
your loss thenOh I hate Blues and Villa more than the 'big' clubs
But I can tolerate getting stick from a Villa season ticket holder who travels the country watching them - I laugh it off then
I can't abide a Man United fan who has never been to a game taking the piss when we get beat though, I really bite
Right up the Snow Dome pal. Very slippery. You took them up the Snow Dome didn’t you? Dirty dog
You do realise that after the Snow Hill station stop on the metro, the metro changes to the main line and uses the same line as London/NorthWest - Midland line to the Hawthorns.Snow Hill train is much easier than the Metro mate, I will be doing the same
The train takes about 10 mins less than the tram and they are much more spacious - was crammed in like sardines last time I went on the tram up to the HawthornsYou do realise that after the Snow Hill station stop on the metro, the metro changes to the main line and uses the same line as London/NorthWest - Midland line to the Hawthorns.
That was a one time only offer Johnny boy.Dasilva to score and @Brighton Sky Blue to buy us more pints.
But I wasn't paying attention well enough on your first offer, mistakes were made. If Dasilva scores will you at least buy yourself a pint? Respect, cov fan in peace. That was a one time only offer Johnny boy.
If Dasilva scores I'm not sure what I'd do tbf. Probably go buy a lottery ticketBut I wasn't paying attention well enough on your first offer, mistakes were made. If Dasilva scores will you at least buy yourself a pint? Respect, cov fan in peace.
I remember backing him at 66/1 1st goalscorer when I went to Plymouth on valentines day when he played left of a front 3... thinking I was a shrewdie... never see that money back againIf Dasilva scores I'm not sure what I'd do tbf. Probably go buy a lottery ticket
Looks ok in the unseenWas KKH injured for Boro?
No, he was injured for us.Was KKH injured for Boro?
Oh to have been there when Richard Shaw scored that rocket at GillinghamI remember backing him at 66/1 1st goalscorer when I went to Plymouth on valentines day when he played left of a front 3... thinking I was a shrewdie... never see that money back again
December 2007Only time i've seen us win there was in the FA Cup 1995 and got soaked standing in the corner.
Pretty sure we did beat them early 2000's in the league but for some reason i didn't go.
It was never the case at my school, though this was in the top flight days. Clear majority of Cov fans in my year at school.Funny that, Cov for a long time has been Man Utd/Liverpool/Arsenal territory. Was even the case at school when we were in the Prem.

our home form could get us up on its own but we have to start winning games like this now, any team in the bottom half we have to be beating, just worried that it’ll be a bit of a come down from last night, need to somehow get that energy into away games. In a weird way a bigger acid test than Boro. Only when we start winning away will I believe we can get promoted. Going without one since November is ridiculous with our ambitions.
Was KKH injured for Boro?
Agree. So, Wilson in for Rushworth on Saturday.I'm thinking of last night as a rebirth,no player in this squad should be an automatic,if we've learnt nothing from the past two months, that's my view anyway, I know we're all jizzing about last night but that's how I feel.
Real competition Now come on.
Apart from the GK!Agree. So, Wilson in for Rushworth on Saturday.
Fair play to Lampard, he’s made some huge decisions,I know it’s only 1 game but he’s stuck with wright, gave Thomas a reminder your not droppable, had full confidence in lati, he’s def doing it his way, takes some balls thatI'm thinking of last night as a rebirth,no player in this squad should be an automatic,if we've learnt nothing from the past two months, that's my view anyway, I know we're all jizzing about last night but that's how I feel.

I think Saka is more than capable of “one bit of magic”I’d be tempted to play esse instead of saka, he was brilliant last night but West Brom will just sit deep, we’ll struggle to break them down. Esse can give you that one bit of magic around the box,
