In a weird way a bigger acid test than Boro. Only when we start winning away will I believe we can get promoted. Going without one since November is ridiculous with our ambitions.

5 out of 6 away games we have taken the lead and failed to win. Not failed to score away from home since Ipswich though, so I’d back us to find the net again.

The difference needs to come in how we tweak things should we go in front, it’s been extremely naive a lot of the time. FL hinted at adopting a more compact shape, hopefully we see it.

We need to stop playing such a high line away from home. Ridiculous having the centre backs defending on the halfway line. QPR could have scored 4 or 5 the other week as they were coached how to hit us on the break.

Only time i've seen us win there was in the FA Cup 1995 and got soaked standing in the corner.
Pretty sure we did beat them early 2000's in the league but for some reason i didn't go.

Beat them 4-2. They were managed by Mowbray. Think we went 2 up, they pulled it back to 2-2 and then their left back got himself sent off.

At least with emails, the postman can't chuck them in the canal with the exam results.

Not many happy memories of the Hawthorns for me. First game there was the 7-1 mauling but Fergie scored a great goal for our consolation. Wasn't keen on the Qtr final cup game when we got attacked as we left the ground. Ironically they had won.

They've got a lot worse under their new manager. 3 goals in 6 league games is some going.

I can't believe they saw what was happening North of the border at Celtic and thought let's appoint a manager from the MLS, he will be binned if we beat them convincingly on Saturday imo

Rowett and O'Neill are scrappers who will get points for Leics and WBA, Ramsay is not and I expect them to make the change soon enough

I'd have to agree. Judging by their last set of accounts - and the further losses anticipated in their next - they simply can't afford to be relegated. They're going to be forced into a change sooner than later if the results continue as they are.

Gives us a good opportunity to exploit them while they're in rock bottom form.

The squad should be nowhere near the bottom 3, i guess once you are stuck in a rut it can just spiral. I'd quite like to see them relegated but not at the expense of Leicester staying up.

Lesta shouldn’t be in as much trouble as they are either, points deduction or not. Confidence has a much bigger impact on performance than I once thought, the same group of players can look unplayable or dreadful accordingly.

Tbh with Leicester's run in containing all of the chasing pack down to Hull we kind of want them to take points off all of them - If that means them staying up then so be it if it helps us get over the line

Must admit I would chuckle if the Albion got relegated, always found them quite an arrogant bunch for a club that have won nothing since the 1960s - They remind me of West Ham in a way, they go on like they are pioneers of on the floor full throttle attacking football cause of Tony Bomber Brown and the Three Degrees when their most successful managers in my lifetime have been Gary Megson and Tony Pulis

I also think the problem is there's zero depth in the squad.

Behind the Starting XI, which is probably around mid-table standard anyway, their bench is littered with injury prone has beens and academy graduates.

Losing is a habit and there's no option to really change things. Doesn't help when the owners appoint glaringly unqualified Managers/Head Coaches.

You are from Tamworth right? I never met a single Blues or Albion fan until i got a job there when i was a kid (my dad was a manager at Drayton Manor and used to go and piss about on the clock ) I found Blues fans to be way more insufferable than the Albion lot but that's a low bar and i'd still like Albion to fuck it.

Train getting to Hawthorns Station is no problem... about a 5 min walk after.

But it can be a replacement bus going back.

Need to plan it out myself with the earlier ko.

What’s the reason for the rail replacement bus? Too many people for the trains to cope with, or leaves on the line.

Yeah, been Tamworth pretty much all my life other than when I was at uni

It is mostly Villa territory, they are harmless enough but annoying when they are winning a few

Most of my friendship circle are actually Blues, it is good natured with them but I can't stand the wider fanbase, especially the ones they have attracted recently

Wrong side of Birmingham for many Wolves or WBA fans - Did notice a few Wolves tops sprinkled about in the Nuno years but they have gone into hiding now

Same again I think. Would be a bit quicker rotating the front four though.

S: Wilson, KKH/Bidwell, Kitching, Eccles, Torp, Esse, BTA, Markelo, Simms

Funny that, Cov for a long time has been Man Utd/Liverpool/Arsenal territory. Was even the case at school when we were in the Prem.

Not so much now of course
