Lati and Thomas were steady. Never going to be maldini but blocked and cleared everything.
Frank was decent again
Good goals from rudoni and emc
Wright wasn't really in the game but wouldn't say he was bad when he was.

We did what we had to do. Back four all played very well.

Onyeka's exactly what we needed, and whilst he didn't have any real sighters on goal, I thought Wright played very well with his back to goal; some excellent hold-up play and lay offs.

Onyeka was very good again I thought. Rudoni looked much more like his old self. Didn't disappear and was in the game so much more.

MVE had a decent game and we weren't troubled too much at the back.

As Nick says, Wright wasn't in the game that much, but he really didn't get much service at all.

Don't think anyone was poor, but DaSilva got caught out a few times.

6s and 7s

Frank is exactly what we needed, his dogged nipping in midfield created goal 1

Rudis finish for goal 2 was excellent. I'm hoping we can afford him time as early as possible to get whatever the surgery is he needs as he is technically great just not quite there physically at the moment

All in all that was a good professional dispatching of a shite team. Did enough to win without really getting out of 2nd gear. Hopefully we'll have loads left in the legs for Wednesday which will be a much tougher game. Fingers crossed for a battle in the Sheffield derby later but I'd imagine they won't break much of a sweat and will rest a few.

The perfect away performance. The defence and midfield were solid and we scored 2 great goals and never looked like conceding!

I'd give everyone 9s as that's the type of performance we've been missing away from home for months!

Lats biggest attribute is his ability to organize and he does it well. Him and Thomas were very good. The tank has taken pressure off Grimes and its allowing Rudoni to play with more freedom.

Can't see Lati being dropped anytime soon , he just loves defending . Just the sort of player and attitude we need to keep the tide turning

Lati with another mature performance yet again.

In comparison to Kitching, his reading of the game is better, his decision making is better and he gives away far less fouls. If it works, which it is, I hope that him and Thomas continue to the end of the season! Obviously got a fantastic attitude so fair play to him.

Lati’s reading of the game is sooooo good, that’s why he’s in the team. He’s not the greatest defender but his positioning is excellent. I’ll worry on Wednesday against Sheff Utd because it’ll be more physical 1-1 defending. But the last 2 he has looked a proper defender.

You can't ask for any more than a thoroughly professional performance away from home at this stage. Every player contributed. 8's all round

Is that the pairing now , for me joel brings some calm to bobby .. despite his limits as a player (pace mostly) he has captain qualities

Similar role in the side to O'Nien in Sunderland's team last season. A player who personally I thought was quite limited but clearly added to the team beyond his abilities

Rushworth 7.5
Mve 8 best performance for a while
Dasilva 7 couple of poor moments under the ball but first half his dribbling was lovely and his choice of pass
Lati - 7.5 defensively excellent
Thomas - 7 solid
Onyeka - 7.5 loved him coming deep to get the ball
Grimes - 7 tick tock
Saka - 7 not Boro good but still really good
Emc 7.5 took his goal well he’s so strong
Wright 7 not hating on him and he held it up well but we are so dangerous when people can score from all over the pitch and off the bench
Rudoni 7.5 stunning goal

all bench contributed Torp and Esse should have scored between them

I've had too many beers to do full ratings but...

Lati has been brilliant since he came back in to the team and to be fair has been every game he's played this season.

Frank the Tank is this seasons Grimes signing.

No one played badly today solid 7s/8s all around.

West brom are in deep trouble I can't remember them ever dropping below Championship level. I can genuinely see Oxford staying up as well.

Thought we did well against a really poor team low on confidence and both goals were quality. We were much better first half but was professional away performance. Thought Jay Dasilva was terrible defensively at times an we were lucky not to concede from that side as a result of it. I know he is much improved on last season and he is so good with the ball and going forward but his positional play is terrible and if we get to the prem he definitely wont be good enough unfortunately.

It’s great to see Rudoni getting back to form. We have him, Onyeka and Grimes as the beating heart of our team and with pace and talent elsewhere and some strength in depth I really believe we can get promoted this season.

Onyeka has been an inspired signing. It’s not so much that he is a good player - though he is - it’s more that he is exactly the type of player we needed. I really feel that he is the final piece of the jigsaw.

Passing was pinpoint and crisp, especially first half. One of those better than the sum of our parts performances today.

What a week to be fair! PUSB
