Three Albion fans were in the pub last night here in Cov and one of them spotted my City badge on my jacket. He asked me what the hell has happened to our club ? I tried my best to explain it all but in the end I just settled for our shit owners have ripped the guts out of the club and it's fans. They were sympathetic and one of them said the Albion like Cov City and miss our derby games.I replied not half as much as we do ! It made me realise how far we've dropped though.

There's not that many teams that aren't our bogey team.

Strangely though Otis I 've seen us beat the likes of Liverpool,Man United,Arsenal and Chelsea home and away and always seemed to beat the big clubs, but have struggled against the likes of Preston,Albion, and a few others.

When both were alive , every time we played WBA me and my Dad would go with my godfather who was a mad Albion fan, and that day sticks in the mind because he wouldn't ever let me forget it ,even years later

my Dad unashamedly used to ignore the drink driving legislation of the day ,and this day he drove to the ground early and parked up,then they hit the pubs big style, whilst I sat in the corner quietly with my coke and a packet of crisps ,right up to kick off time.Even on the drive home they stopped in a couple more pubs .

As a young lad I couldn't tell me dad to steady down ,but sometimes I think how the hell did we get home safely and to the correct location

Yep. Strange that BBR. I agree entirely. Even to the point of the cup draws I wanted a "big" team, simply coz I knew we'd have a chance. If we drew a lower team I always thought we were done for!

I've been to Highbury,Anfield,Old Trafford,Stamford Bridge, and Elland Road, and watched us beat all those top teams. I've seen us hammer Liverpool and United when both them were at their best, but saw us lose to Kings Lynn,Sutton, and stood on the terraces to see us get hammered by Albion 7-1 and Everton stick six past us at Highfield Road when they weren't that good. Like you I loved our big games as I knew we'd give them a good go but against the smaller clubs I'd get jittery !

I remember them battering us 4-0 at home and we were embarrassing - Worse still we had to play them away at the hawthorns a few weeks later but i was actually stunned that night as and were brilliant, played them off the park and won 4-2 Mifsud terrorised them

Strangely I said to my sister today how pleased I am they have what I think is a really good manager. And that they came back for a point today...& then added "I think I am finally over that 7-1 drubbing & nicked car awayday"
