[h=1]West Brom set to be Ricoh Regulars[/h]

After successfully hosting games at the Ricoh Arena towards the end of last season, West Bromwich Albion will make it their main base for Under-21 matches in 2014/15.

An article on the Baggies official website on Thursday has eight fixtures scheduled for Coventry City's former home with only three being played at The Hawthorns.

No surprise there, already used it last season and so would I for a reported £1,750 per game!

I don't know if anyone has told you, but those of us in the real world, and successive judges have concluded this has nothing to do with rent, or any sum paid in rent - per game or per season. Knock it on the head can you?

So, if this pans out, when are they expected to play their games? Would it cut up the pitch and potentially have Waggot moaning about the state of it!!??

FFS, this isn't getting us closer to home. Sorry to take it off topic, but after hearing this which I'll bet will be loaded into ACL's Double Bluff arsenal, to counter Tim's its not the rent, oh yes it is pantomime ..... I almost want to string the lot of them up.

I think that once the FL have met and sorted out the £590K, there's no reason why ACL can't get a f'kin grip, set out their stall, and if SISU want to keep pursuing this Plan A nonsense then ACL should publicly offer their best deal to allow them to do just that, get on with it or STFU. Lets get the frigging wagons rolling one way or the other:

1) Set a reasonable, affordable rent (Fisher says rent isn't the issue)
2) SISU obviously have to pay match day fees, police, stewards etc.
3) ACL give them all the match day profits they legally can (ie. once Compas etc have taken their cut).
4) A one year rolling contract, SISU can pull out as soon as the new ground is built.

This way:
1) The club play at home (yippee).
2) SISU get what they've been whining for, plus ticket money to pay the bills and satisfy SCMP/FFP
3) ACL still make money via the rent (plus any non CCFC related events)

The onus is then on SISU to either:
1) Start building the new stadium; eventually have a product they can sell (ie a Club with its own ground)
2) Allow the income to be used to invest in the team, eventually get promoted, and then have a Club which they can sell to someone who is willing to pay not only for the Club, but also a reasonable price for the ACL/Compas/Higgs shares.

Just make it happen Tim, Joy, PHKW, Ann

.... I hold you responsible should I go on a GTA killing spree!

It may or may not happen but if it goes 'belly-up' you can all have a field day, for the wrong reasons.

Tomorrow is another day, 'Think Lucky & You'll Be Lucky'.

Well some of us will, don't know about most of you lot?

What are you at RFC? We have crap owners and are part of a property speculation that's not working. We want to go home and we don't need your crap. Just leave it out. Your take on things is getting boring.

Is it?

WBA U21s will be opening all four stands and the directors box plus associated catering areas I assume? Fully stewarded etc?

Or are they just using the pitch?

And we didn't pay in excess of £55k a game. More of your "facts". HELP!!

It's not going to effect anything.
It's SISU we are waiting for not ACL.
Nobody is around to take over the main tenancy and I guess that if Ccfc return they will be moved elsewhere.
Dusts the cobwebs and oils the facilities while we wait for the arseholes to return our club.

All your twaddle soundbites are a mixture of Kylie 'hits' or Bond Movie titles - followed by unsubtle cryptic tosh that sounds like a bad Riddler comment aimed to puzzle Batman.

If (and it's a big if) you are for real - feel sorry for you. If (more plausible IMHO) you are a WUM, please give it a rest - annoyed with myself for even responding now(unless it works - unlikely) !

Yes there,s good business and Bad business.
West Brom playing and paying to play at the Ricoh now that is good business for ACL
Coventry playing and paying to play in Northampton Well that is bad business for CCFC.

Not rocket science is it?

a paying customer is a paying customer. everyone keeps banging on about the stadium never being used but that's now two tenants they've got in. better for them than it not being used surely?

as we're not playing there the only real issue is if this causes a problem should we decide we want to come back.
