So we're hoping to sign Cody McDonald for £400,000 (fingers crossed on that one) and meanwhile Leicester City have had a bid of £6.5m for Rangers’ Nikica Jelavic rejected.

Six point five million. How are we in the same division as a team that can afford that much? How can Leicester afford that? And more importantly, how could we ever compete with that?

We're barely a Championship side in stature if that's anything to go by.

It's ridiculous, but that's football in 2011.

They have already bid £4m for Beckford, £6m for Maynard.

Little clubs with money are in fashion right now.

It's stupid money and it isn't fair on some prem teams i.e Everton. Nevermind the rest of the championship

Just to let you know leicester are in the wrong division and not us. How many other championship teams have splashed the cash? Quite surprised to see the quality leaving Leeds tbh. Why has Gradel gone?

Why would they settle for Jelevic for £6.5m when for the same fee they could sign Clive Platt......someone should be telling their scouts.
