Arsenal boss suggests longer international break
Arsene Wenger has called for a one-month international window to end the club versus country debate.
The Arsenal boss has slammed the timing of England's clash against France on 17th November.
The prestigious Wembley friendly comes three days after the Gunners travel to Everton and three days before they meet North London rivals Tottenham.
Better
Wenger said: "The players can turn up on Monday, what can they do?
"Nothing, because most of them have played on Sunday.
"They play on Wednesday and then go home. It would be better that you say 'okay, for one month they [the players] are yours'."
They have a break in the winter when games are called off. If you have a month off and then games are being called off after that as well then you will be playing a lot of catch up games sonny jim and your stars on thousands of pounds a week can't hack more then one game of football within 7 days.
He has lost the plot.... He has more players of quality on the bench then the average team has in a squad.. Not anyones fault but his that they CAN'T HACK IT...
