I had a tear in my eye in the ground and as we left the ground we were actually quite quiet as I don't think it had sunk in.

Look I'm not criticizing anyone for enjoying the moment, just stating I don't share it, because it seems odd to me that people would be enthusiastic about this competition, especially given the wider troubles at CCFC. That's all. It's OK, I am allowed to state my own opinion without being liable for people getting abusive about it.

PS. I have been to Wembley 6 times before and it's nothing amazing.
PPS the point is that we shouldn't be in this bloody league (never mind set to be relegated out of it), we're the 10th biggest city in England with 50 year history of playing in the top 2 divisions until 2012.

We will easily take 40k to Wembley.

What do you reckon; two per ticket (season ticket, EFL game before semi, EFL semi, general sale)?

Bummer for me.

Wife is going to Russia for 3 weeks and leaves on the 1st. Means I will have my daughter. She doesn't want to go to the game, so I have only been able to book a train for return the same day.

I agree its a tin pot trophy, but the look on my 10 year old grandson's face tonight when the whistle went
was priceless. I have been dismissive of these games all season, but I now realise it's what we need to keep the kids
going.

We have bigger fish to fry than Wembley, I agree with that.

But celebrating a court case more than a semi final win, get a grip mate. Are you a football supporter or lawyer? Does it really get your adrenaline pumping when a particular compelling argument is presented in court?

Do you realise that for many people under the age of 35 that this is the biggest thing to happen to their club in their adult lifetime? Look at the celebrations afterwards. And then look again at the ages of tbe people invading the pitch. They are the future of our club and this final might just ensure there are people left to pick up whatever pieces SISU leave behind. More reasons tonight to open your bubbly than you understand. Come to Wembley too!!

I'm 31. Too young to remember the FA Cup win and have had a season ticket to the present day from 1998/99 every year aside from Northampton.

This is a massive deal for me, it is an experience I never thought I'd get and may not get agajn whilst we remain in the hands of our current owners. All eyes will be on us for once, an opportunity to win a piece of silverware with 40,000 sky blues showcasing the potential of our club at our national stadium. The feeling of elation tonight was incredible after watching almost 2 decades of constant and predictable disappointment.

As I sit on the second to back row i couldn't be bothered to trek down to the pitch but seeing the fans spill on in jubilation was a sight to behold. Good to do it in front of the Sky cameras too (although before my arrival they had attempted to cover the back 3 rows in black netting for some unknown reason which was lodged beneath my seat for the entire game and almost resulted in my going arse over tit after the first goal. Stewards weren't prepared to do anything)

Absolutely fantastic feeling.

Years of absolute shit, be it relegations, court cases, Northampton, players, managers, directors, Wasps, ACL, CCC, SISU (obviously), and I finally have a memory to cherish.

The club may still be in trouble on and off the pitch, but that's even more reason to enjoy those elusive moments that remind you why you put yourself through it all.

Turns out it was Written in the stars after all, 30 years on and we are going back, absolutely
Fantastic doesn't matter now what happens at Wembley, getting there was always the prize.
Massive day now beckons for the SBA, if "as I suspect" this proves to be a swan song for
This great old club, lets all get down there and make sure everyone knows who we are.:emoji_blush:

Tell you what, Wasps have bloody ruined that pitch - look at the slope on it! It's almost as bad as Yeovil's old ground.

It felt like a real football club again tonight. Queuing to get in, lots of people in the concourse and the fact that we didn't have a whole row to ourselves added to the great atmosphere. Seemed like more than11000 there.

Watched it at home with my 8yo and welled up seeing the sheer joy in his face as he said "I can't believe I'm going to watch Coventry at Wembley".

I was an 11yo at the Charity Shield and would never have thought it would be 30 years before we'd be back there.

So to all the grumps out there, we all know it's not an 'achievement' to get to the final of a tinpot cup, but the significance of it is massive. It's the place of our only success. It's a chance for families to relive v happy memories. Grown up kids to take their own kids and maybe, just maybe, we'll stay up and look back at this moment at the point when things finally started to get better.

Well that was all poetic nonsense! I'm off to bed. :shamefullyembarrased:
