Yes I think anything to get the club home as it boosts the fans and obviously money will be a lot more than at sixfields that's for sure. CCFC/SISU need to be part or be ACL going forward and this should be taken over from the council and ccfc/sisu and lets higgs go off with their money and never get involved again. F
air prices paid to all and then we can all move forward once and for all.

Isn't this basically what Keogh is saying. No one thinks the club should be given the ricoh for free. It is a fact tjat has been made up on thia forum.

Perhaps. Sisu have indeed gone about it all legally and morally wrong though and that's where all the hate lies. The reason why some people won't go the Ricoh even if ccfc come back.

Would he bollocks. He'd have had a chat with Joy, and we've all seen that she can be persuasive in person.

Do you really think Robins sat in on rental negotiations? You're madder than usual.

I think you'll find that Grendel on more than one occasion has said that to help the club the Ricoh should be given to them. He usually follows it by saying isn't that what all CCFC fans would want and if you don't then you're not a real fan.

And he and his mates go on about dividing fans.

Any way agree with Keogh they do both need to grow up, but first sisu need to forget their grudges and get back in touch with ACL nothing will change if they are not willing to do this one thing.

Sisu think the club should be given it for free it would seem. "Acl isn't worth buying" was one of Wise Tims's quotes iirc.

Didn't Joy (or rather her familiar) also say it was worth nothing in court, but was offering £2m out of goodwill to the charity?

Quality stuff that-possibly SISU's most ludicrous lie ever, despite some fierce competition.

Not what Justice Hickenbottom thinks:

"On all the evidence, a realistic valuation of ACL as at January 2013 was no less than £10.8m, but less than £14.4m."

No, this is wrong. The charitable offer was £5.5m according to Deering in Court.

4 MR JUSTICE LEGGATT: But she wasn't going to pay 5.5 million

5 is the point for a company worth nothing.

6 A. I don't think she ever said that she wouldn't pay that

7 money if the original deal was still on the table.

8 MR JUSTICE LEGGATT: Sorry, you're suggesting she thought

9 the company was worth nothing, but still would pay

10 5.5 million for it?

11 A. She recognised that they were a charity, yes.

12 MR JUSTICE LEGGATT: You're not a charity, are you?

13 A. No.

14 MR JUSTICE LEGGATT: Why would she pay 5.5 million for

15 something worth nothing?

16 A. I don't know. I don't make the final decision. I can

17 only --

18 MR JUSTICE LEGGATT: Okay.

Yes, the £2m offer for 50% of a company worth at least £10.8m.

It's a steal. A company that's never paid dividends, scraped a profit last year by selling key assets, has no permenant tenant. Seriously I'm amazed Branson and the Virgin empire hasn't swooped to pick up such a bargain.

You know, but conveniently forget to mention that instead of paying dividends, ACL were over-paying the loan, which is good business.
Also, have ACL ever made a loss ?
See how easily things can be misconstrued and twisted ?

Never paid dividends? how have the thieving scum council milked the club if they've never taken a dividend out of ACL? what's the real reason ACL have never paid a dividends out? something about reinvesting the profits back into the project rather than feeding it to a greedy council and a greedy charity? the dirty capitalist b'stards!

No permanent tenant? I must admit that living in rugby its been about a month since i last passed the Ricoh but I'm pretty sure that the hotel was open for business and i haven't heard anything about the casino closing it door's either. When did these 2 permanent tenants close shop?

Is Branson in the business of owning and running stadium management companies? what other complexes does he have on his book's?

given that the club didn't make a profit last season and is unlikely to do so again this season despite selling of assets are you saying that the KCIC offer to buy the club was too much? strange sisu didn't take them up, even stranger is Branson and the Virgin empire hasn't swooped to pick up such a bargain.

Strange isn't it that the likes of you, dancing with ACL and the like get so impassioned about some faceless management company?

Shame you are not so interested in the football team.

You are right though ACL are the pioneers of management companies. I would imagine the Nec have been in touch looking at best practice - they apparently are looking to get Sally on their books and have lined up 4 people to get their kit off and run around the exhibition centre.

I don't think it is about getting impassioned about a faceless management company. That is you trying to twist things after loosing an argument you started, your own facts don't stack up.

Skybluetony176 just sees things for what they are. He can correct your warped facts, criticise our owners and still have the interests of the club at heart; again your logic is skewed.

Does the upcoming Quilt Festival at the NEC meet with your approval of acceptable events for an exhibition centre to hold?

What's all this about dancing with ACL? Were just stating how it is. If you have any facts to prove otherwise, then why not just post them? It will certainly ingratiate you with other posters more rather then questioning their commitment to their team.

So what I say is incorrect? Is that what you're saying? Show us some proof then, I'm happy to have my opinions changed with factual evidence. Or are you just doing a blind dance with a hedge fund who's willing to gamble all with the club you apparently love because they might (unlikely though) get one up on a council you despise.

Interesting. Was he in at meetings? No mention of that in court. Or did he maybe hear SISU moaning about the council - which would of course give him an independant view...

Does he have insight into how councils treat other clubs, and, if so, how many clubs have included him in dealings and contract terms with their councils?

I think that accountants know more about the financial ways of running a business than most football managers through their training. Opinion, from a high court judge, is very relevant and I put the JR judgement far above that of a short term and pure football employee of SISU. I never heard a detailed analysis from him about the way the council treated poor old SISU.

Me too, I must have read it wrong. Deering said in court it was worth nothing but the 2m offer was because Joy realised that it was a charity. The 5,5m, that Higgs accepted, was interpreted by them on another day, as so much up front and the rest on the never never - with more chance of never ever. Which is why Higgs rejected it.
