Well done to the Coventry Building Society; unlike the Telegraph and CWR, they have judged the mood of the fans spot on:

"Building Society Not Renewing Their Contract Due To Club Situation

Coventry Building Society have pulled the plug on Coventry City FC
The Building Society was running Sky Blue and Junior Sky Blue bank accounts but these are to cease as according to Colin Franklin, head of Sales and Marketing, due to the situation at the club.
Letters have been sent to a number of supporters, saying that from July 20th, the accounts will no longer be offered, existing accounts will no longer have any CCFC benefits and their contribution to the club will stop."

They're a bank. All they care about is pennies.

No they're not. They are a building society who are owned by their account holders. The reputational impact being a local business of being associated with the club at the current time could be very damaging.

There are plenty of Staunch CCFC supporters who have said they will be closing these accounts so maybe the Company is following rather than leading.
What do I do with My CCFC MasterCard ,you can't believe the Pride I feel when I flash the plastic.
