Well done for the numbers, but first half was quiet, with some half arsed renditions of PUSB.

Always the same in big numbers.

Crowd were a bit better second half though when City actually started to play.

A few disappointing things though. Booing the 14 year old kid singing at half time was nasty. Was a fairly sizeable chunk of our fans as well. Also a few idiots let the club down after Maguire's goals. Some very young ballboys running for cover, and punches thrown towards the stewards.

Put a slightly sour tint on an otherwise great day out.

Two superb goals by new boy Maguire but players should restrict their goal celebrations to on the pitch so as not to incite the crowd into moronic behaviour.
After his second goal I was worried that Maguire was going to be shown a second yellow.

Poor first half performance, sloppy passing, sluggish, half hearted tackles, letting dons come onto us. 2nd half, back to normal, energetic, high pressing, first to the ball, wide play, eager and fully dominated MK dons. 2 class free kicks won it us but rightly so, we were deserved winners. Turnout was amazing, atmosphere was excellent although slightly flat first half but then it doesn't help only having 7k home support. Awesome ground but absolutely ridiculous them using it as their fan base is league 2 standard at best!

Thought the consistency of support and the 'spirit' was much better at last season's game at Stadium:MK, which I put down to the better league position at the time and the greater anticipation / expectations of the travelling fans.
