Totally agree, I've always thought because us fans have been starved of any success for such a long time and many of us have never seen a successful team in our life time (certainly anyone under 30), the interest in a good Coventry team would be phenomenal. In context we have a great away following and only doing quite well in league 1. Imagine if we were pushing for promotion in the Championship.
I don't think the Prem teams release away gates. Looking around we probably beat a few of the lesser clubs. Any of the top 6 tend to sell out everywhere due to glory supporters if imagine.
