Absolutely. Enough of the "We won't talk to SISU" and "we won't deal with the council" bullshit.

Without seeing the exact facts of what went on I'm blaming the lot of them.

I think they are all as bad as each other & I'm going right back to when the decision was made to leave Highfield Road. Everything was based on staying in the Premiership, as a result things fell apart around them. Its seems that deals were poorly done out of desperation.

Problem now as I see it I think for each party involved it has become personal & they have forgot the basics, its us the supporters that are suffering.

I am quite dissapointed in Les to be quite honest. Nothing new has been learnt. Expected him to give her a bit more of a grilling .........

Only thing I respect Joy for saying in that interview was that she said "If I was asked would I make the same investment again back in 2007 the answer would be no." ...... Who can blame her?

I have said before but I am completely fed up with all of this. I am in no way in favour of SISU, but it appears they are not prepared to go anywhere soon. So if we are stuck with them, the only way I see this going forward is for the council to allow them to buy the Ricoh. Otherwise we are going to be waiting 5 years for a Stadium - *Funny how this has changed from 3 years, to 3-5 years, to now 5 years.*

there ate three parts i find strange, they are:

she said the club was at a "new beginning" and added: "if anybody doubts a stadium will be built, they haven't had engagements with me over the course of the last 2 years."

then she says:

"plan a is building a stadium. there is something very exciting about building something that is a new beginning. it feels like the club is at a new beginning"

then towards the end she says:

"i would like to get to a point where people are so interested in the football they stop talking about sisu capital. i am not the face of coventry city football club... i shepard other peoples money. i dont have the desire to run a football club. i dont know anything about football. i am a private person. i dont seek publicity. i just like to go home and be with my family. im not a terribly social person"

to me seppala just want the ricoh or a stadium and ccfc is just an inconvenient neccesity

One thing that I found interesting and predictable was 'The “devout Christian” said she had received some angry hate mail, including emails containing words such as “die” and “bitch”.' If true there is a reason in itself as to why Seppala won't come out of the shadows. We are all frustrated and reading the article there is nothing that really surprises me about it, however death threats aren't right and shouldn't be tolerated.

I just cannot see a solution to all this unless there is a change in management or ownership in either or both SISU/ACL.
They are all just going to carry on like spoilt little school kids refusing to speak to each other.
Can I see a new ground being built in or near Coventry, nope. Can I see us moving back to the Ricoh, nope. More chance of seeing us in the champions league 1st!

I have yet to see or hear anything concrete that leads me to believe we will ever play in Coventry again

In my experience I've found DEVOUT Christians and devout Muslims, Jews, Hindus and any other deeply religious people to be very strange, bigoted, spiteful, perverted and sometimes on the edge of being dangerous and violent.

had to laugh at this quote from mrs seppala

“If anyone doubts a stadium will be built, they haven’t had engagements with me over the course of the last two years.”

err. that will be just about everyone then, as this is the first time you have engaged with anyone!

To me sisu happens to own a football club, now they want it to be viable and buying the ricoh or building a stadium is just an inconvenient neccesity.

.....At least, it seems, that a few more folks on here are now accepting that our basket-case of a fuck-up of a shit-storm of a club has not become so just since big bad sisu arrived.....

...the rot set in years ago....and loads of suited twats are responsible for its continued demise.

My position hasn't changed.....I still hate Sisu, ACL & CCC & would still not piss on any of the under-handed conniving scheming greedy twats if they were on fire.

Thanks OSB. So joy's statement that they couldn't afford to pay the rent, especially given the FFP rules is rubbish then?

Just to be clear, I am not OSB. Anyone thinking that is doing OSB a great injustice.
I deputized for OSB in replying to your post as I have an easy morning.

Yes, JS is not exactly correct - or is being mis-quoted. FFP is solely based on Revenue - nothing to do with cost.

Wow, what a tame article. Could have been written by a year ten media studies student. So now the Les, where is the other side of the story? You geared the 'readers' up to an article which has nothing new just a rehash of the SISU propaganda we have heard from Fisher many times. I want to hear the CCC /ACL propaganda now. Just to conclude that Eff all has changed, then I can get on with life without CCFC.

Where were the questions like 'The majority of the fans do not support you. What will you do when they have gone forever?' or Most of those who are anti SISU simply take that stand because they do not trust you, what are you going to do to win trust? Many people in Coventry do not want to sell an asset to SISU because they believe that you will profit and they will loose. What deal can you offer them? Are you really stating that you have not been close to the detail of CCFC until 2 years ago, is that not a dereliction of your duty as the CEO of SISU? Can you explain why your business is so poorly organised it can't complete its accounts on time? Why should people believe that you are capable of running the business in an ethical and legitimate manner, something you have failed to demonstrate to them in 5 years? Rant not over but got to do some work...................................

If they part owed the stadium.. or at least the F & B rights.. then their revenue would be higher, which would mean that they would have a higher level of FFP budget to play with. it would also mean they were making more profit & as such, surely be more able to afford the levels of rent being requested by ACL.. so does that actually make her quote valid ?

Same as that when CCC have offered to meet with Joy when Joy won't meet with them whilst expecting everything to get sorted.

How can Joy expect to get ownership of the ground if she won't meet with CCC?

Or like when ACL/CCC sent people to a meeting who couldn't actually make any decisions.

Both sides. Both sides.

The telegraph interview does not tell us any thing that she had already told Fisher to relay, love the devout christian, wants privacy, my heart bleeds, spin more spin , blah blah. I believe nopm is working, their pulling out all the blag now, they are being told by their investors to get this sorted. We need these out of our club as soon as possible.

What is the use of reporting from both sides if he won't ask the questions that we would all love the answers to? All that has happened is we now know 100% that Joy wanted the Ricoh for less than was owed on the mortgage. Did this also mean no money to the Higgs charity?

She says she knows nothing about football then she says football is a religion and she feels the fans pain??

Total bollocks.

Its just a pr exercise to get more people to sixfields. Sisu are on the ropes and she knows it.

So what do you know about the death threats.....or are you just trying to start rumors? Think the police would have been involved if what you are insinuating is true.

What meeting was this? Certainly never had Joy there did it? We need Joy to be there. CCC have offered a meeting with her on occasions.

We all want this sorting out. But there isn't a chance until she wants it sorting.

The administrator & SISU keep referring to the ownership of assets at the time of the administration but surely the issue would be the transfer of assets from the time of te last published accounts until the administration started?
I'm sure PWKH had stated earlier that the meeting with Seppala to try and resolve issues earlier in the year had collapsed because she had stated it was "all or nothing" regarding the Ricoh, freehold etc.

Cheers scrotum.

As I said have the police been involved? What was the threat? 'I wish you would die you bitch' and 'You are a bitch. I am looking for you and you are going to die'

Both very much out of order, but both mean something totally different.

First impression is that i am disappointed by the article, but it is what it is and i am not sure really what I expected from it. Just to be clear thats not a comment on Reid

It is hard to see a way forward for CCFC at the Ricoh especially when the headline is we will come back but only as owners.

Please explain to me why ownership of the Ricoh is absolutely essential to the club - thats the club not the owners

So what is the point of all this PR if Plan A is to build a new stadium...... that seems like a definite plan, a choice made, get on and do it

Buying the freehold will give no income to the club, unless they get rid of ACL....... is the clue in the statement the freeholder has the right of entry if ACL went bust

So ACL & the SB Trust have their answer there is no rental deal, even on a temporary basis, to be done.

I assume full control means all incomes not just the football incomes

So the new stadium will be far enough away that it cant be affected by CCC....... does that mean Brandon is a non starter because aside from the residents likely objections the council will have influence over access

So new stadium say £20m..... 60% borrowed say £12m at 3% over 10 years = repayments £1.39m per year. Where is the 40% cash coming from ? more money from investors? isnt that in effect borrowing the full amount?or sale of associated land interests on the site?

Does the ACL lease get assigned if someone buys ACL? Would the council sell its shares in ACL then refuse to recognise the new owners in terms of the lease?

The Council might owe CCFC Ltd 400k but the rent is owed to ACL and you cannot net the two off. Any collection of the £400k is used to pay the administrator and then split between all the creditors including ARVO, SBS&L etc not just ACL

I agree with her comments regarding the current squad, Pressley and the current day to day running of the business

From the article i take it that Plan A is the new stadium build, that SISU have no intention of coming back unless the council sell them the freehold (i do not see that happening I just do not think it is for sale to anyone), the lady is not for turning, ACL only interested in a rent deal and thats been dismissed, I dont see the Charity or Council selling their ACL stakes to Joy and if all that is so i dont see the point of continued PR, discussion, etc. SISU/Otium/CCFC had better get on with Plan A sooner rather than later.

I am not at all encouraged by that article

Poor article, telling us little more about Joy and her gang than we knew already.

One thing Les should have asked was a follow up to the statement that it was never the intent to distress ACL.

Why are they so hell bent on the judicial review then?
