Include the cup win pal. Its all about the bigger picture. Forget the first 2 games aswell as he not drilled tactics in at that time.

So its more like 5 wins 1d 3 losses which extrapolated over a aeason i imagine is promotion form. Id certainly take it every 9 games!

so, he hasn't drilled in tactics in first two games, but the third he had, also cup games count towards league form now ?

hmmmm

Robins has showed that this team shouldn't have gone down, but it isn't promotion form !

Your wasting your energy mate... he will say he's right to his grave. Were down because of MV and Slade... blah blah. Nothing to do with the man whos summer building of a squad not fit to go a season and the first 10 games also seems to have no bearing on the season, the lack of goals, bite and confidence too of a side assembled by a man seemingly blameless in a poor season.
TM gets no mention from him, bizarre.
Yes RS underachieved in his time here but the man he forgets to mention for any blame only recoded 7 wins in 2016 and managed a points per game return of just over 1 from January 1st 2016.
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Sir Tony Mowbray!

But it was still salvageable. The Venus and Slade periods were just wrong and made the mission impossible. The right appointment after Mowbray and we would have been fine.

I agree 100% that MV and RS made the chances of staying up worse. No denying, MV killed the confidence in the players and RS lost the key 6 pointers and other games that were winnable. Players didn't buy into slades style where as Robins has managed to squeeze that extra 5/10% out of individuals.
My point is you not accepting any blame at TM's door.

Well done.... it's all if buts and maybes but what we do know is what's happened and how we now build upon it with out making them same errors and it's gotta start now with the retained list.
I feel we would of still struggled as the teams a fair weather team. Through the winter on the poorer pitches we wouldn't of been able to match teams physically with TM here still. The side has a weak under belly and would of struggled to play the type of football TM wanted to play.
Wrong man for the level unfortunately

That's football... if we all thought the same there would be no point in sky blue talk.
We're all paying customers in various forms and see the game differently at times I'm guessing.
I'll deal as you acknowledged TMs responsibility in this seasons failings. I'm a reasonable person at the end of this keypad and have a good understanding of the game and this level and accept I'm not gonna be right in my thoughts sometimes but there my views, and I'll talk and debate others if I differ or there factually incorrect.

Ps drop the arrogance, it don't come across well.

It is roughly 8th place form, if maintained over the season.

Slade tried to play long ball with a team built for a passing game. Robins worked it out quickly to be fair to him.
There is no point getting the ball up front quickly if it never sticks.
He needed to sign a strong target man if he was going to do that, surrounded by pace. It never happened and Slade never had anything else in his locker.

No he didn't - there's little change in any of the possession stats at all. We have no ability to pass at all.

Ironically the one area he has improved massively is the back four. We concede hardly any goals now at home anyway. He plays a flat back four and makes his full backs play like full backs and not go ambling all over the place.

Away from home it's more difficult and away from home we've lost all games since he took over.
