He may well be a great signing, but why hasn't anyone higher up the leagues or a top League One club snapped him up?

How would I know I'm not his agent how would I know what interest he's had what I do know is he's only here through SP's Heart Connection I also k ow Hearts were desperate to sign him on a new contract but couldn't due to financial problems I'm told he's playing against England Wednesay so maybe will give the doubters a good chance to see what he's about...

Seems same people who always slag players I remember that David McGoldrick thread very well lol

Yeah, but there's favours and then there's favours!

Can't think of a worst choice of a club than us to join at the moment with all the turmoil going on.

He may be a great signing. I'm more concerned about the long term impact. How high is his wage and how will that effect us over the next few seasons under the ffp. In division3 can we afford an international player and if we can why can't we then afford the bomb squad?

has he shown his face at a game yet? Didn't spot him at Crawley, looked like it was just Waggot. Was he at Orient. I can see someone trying to get at him at some point this season the way things are going.

No no he's just taking the NOPM campaign a bit too far by boycotting all the matches that we are playing not just the home ones.

Or maybe he'll have hired goons to protect him at Sixfields, who he doesn't take to away matches so can't travel.

Or he's worried about another balloon under the wiper..

Really good signing (for us) - exactly what we needed. Despite my absolute hatred of the administrative side of things, I still hope things on the pitch continue to improve and the manager gets to settle in. Still early days for him, but so far, despite having so much to deal with off the pitch, he's made some bold decisions which I quite like. Not fully convinced by his tactics or the nice guy "I'm proud of my losers" routine after matches; but credit where it's due, he's cleared out all of the passengers, held on to some of the few decent players we've had, and has proven he's capable of making a decent signing.

Agreed! But he was probably quite an expensive player too, and a bit slick for this league. I reckon in stamping his mark he has lost a couple of good players, but he's replacing them somehow, and trying to build a team that could do well in division 1.

Top top signing.. .I'm in shock that we've signed such quality.

Hes been at hearts for a few years so hes well used to mental owners and basket case clubs.

. . .and as hes replacing bell, he could possibly be on 75% of bells wage. .. . hope he is not but may explain why hes here
