What goes on???
The new website looks dreadful & takes ages to load...frustration created = for me at least rendered useless!
Found the official app for iPhone the other week & downloaded that...but News tab has a connection error message & apparently we have absolutely no fixtures this season. Have we gone into liquidation unannounced or something???
C'mon City...get your act together

I must admit the website looks awful, the usability makes it really hard to use

All to do with the football league.

They have changed the supplier of the web sites.

This also means the app does not work with the new web site news feeds.

They have fixed parts of the app but apple won't allow them to update the app as it still contains faults.

Just like when Facebook changes, everyone moans, then everyone gets used to it.

New football league sites look much nicer, (admittedly at the sacrifice of usability- slightly)

The only thing I'd change is the stupid popup you get no matter what page you enter the site through.

Not sure if City is the same, but Northampton Town put in their programme on Tuesday that the football league site providers are still making improvements and will continue through to September.

The thing is usability though. I make websites for a living and found it quite hard to find what I wanted to on there.

It's a f*cking joke mate. SISU cost cutting again no doubt.

I like the new features. The stats they display across the screen stating wins including home and away. But it takes ages to load. I use opera mini on my blackberry that doesn't use flash and its far quicker as it loads up but doesn't then have sky blues player advertising flashing all over.
I like the looks, but its too slow. Hopefully they'll realise this and fix any bugs!

Most of the categories seem similar, if not the same to before to me?

No the football leagues contract ran out and they've changed company.

Fine for me, what browser are you using?

Screen resolution might be an issue too?

The only answer for me is "Follow my club" on the BBC site & checking here for gossip & reports. OFFiciAL site(s) just don't fit the bill.

90% of Football League clubs have their websites run through FLI (Football League Interactive) which is a part of the FL itself.

When they were signed up they were all offered significant signing on fees (some in the millions) but almost all of the income from the website then gets paid to FLI. I doubt if SISU would have coughed up enough to buy out of that contract so its probably another Football League cock up.

It shows us currently in 6th position in the league and Yeovil are bottom. Should be a walk-over on saturday then! :claping hands:
