Couldn't make today as on holiday but .............
Never missed it.
Listened to it on the radio but totally couldn't be bothered what the score was.
Team don't care anymore. Manager must be thinking what has he come too. Financing a mess. ACL in for the money.

Hope this lasts and I can move on.

Just think
- Savings on Season Ticket
- Savings on Away travel, ticket and entertainment.
- Can invest my time in getting on with enjoying my retirement.
- Next years team will be worse.
- Don't have to listen to the CWR team who obviously see different games to me and obviously there jobs must depend on convincing us everybody is doing ok.
- Stop. I'm starting to believe I have a future

I made this decision months ago, they're not worth the bother anymore.

I will go to the minimum of games with SISU in charge. Probably over the Xmas period and local away games. Gonna go and watch my local team (St Albans) on a saturday until Sepalla etc have been ran out of town. I will always support City, but i will not support SISU anymore. I have been to many games this year and I find it really hard going.

People weren't moaning after Friday's game, probably the best performance of the season. A defeat (and yes a thrashing) and they're off!

Actually travelled back from Chester camperfest and drove past the stadium at about 2:00. Mrs wouldn't let me stop as she had to get back !!!

Hope the season tickets are delayed so I can commit to do other things.

It's because not everyone is as great as you

There's so much else to do, yet I shorten holidays, avoid friends and family and plan everything around a poxy football match.

Poxy. There I've said it again.

No, it happens every time we lose or get thrashed. There's no guarantee when you support a team that everything is going to be rosy.

Got a mate who's a lifelong Arse supporter.
A couple of years ago they were in a Champions League final and he was praying they'd win.....not for the obvious reason tho' but so he could give up going.....knowing they'd done it all. Poor bugger.
It was something I could identify with because I felt much the same in '87. Singing "abide with me" as a sky blue and then winning the thing after all the shit I'd endured was a watershed. Truth is though - you never get it out of your system......you can move home, change jobs and wife, even emigrate but you can't change your team.
More's the feckin pity.....

I help run a Saturday football team, a club I'm chairman and secretary of so I haven't gone to a game all season after quite a few seasons as a season ticket holder. I guess I must have more passion for the club I help run than CCFC at the moment, kind of had the enjoyment of watching city sucked out of me over the past few seasons. I find what I do with my club more fulfilling than watching us nowadays. I'm just so disillusioned with our owners, the stadium situation and the general negativity that surrounds our club.
I would never stop supporting and I'm sure I will one day be drawn back in but I've got other responsibilities in a role I enjoy immensely at the moment. I'll probably get accused of not being a real fan but that is not the case, the sky blues will always be in my blood, that's why I post on here.

Procdoc, there's no "real fan" definition.
Supporters of a F.C. are a broad church.
How can it be otherwise?
Anyway, you're doing the right thing, for sure.
