For those that went, how was he tonight?

Also Cody sounded like he got himself into the action?

Did he look sharper?

Bell came on and steadied the ship, good passing and put in a great ball for the handball. Cody looked a bit leaner tbf put didn't have much time to affect the game

Maybe a 4-4-2 at home with Cody and Leon up front?

Bell Coming in for Macca with Baker on the left and Bell on the right?

That sound like a good idea?

Bell looked excellent when he came on. If he keeps that up he will be a key asset for the rest of the season. And shut the knockers up.

Question for the regulars - is sheff always that non-existent?

As much as I hate to say it with him being a cov lad and all that, macca doesn't affect any games anymore. He's had very few good games this season and when he's having a Shocka, he's having a Shocka. He does need dropping to be fair so with Bell finally returning to first action it could be the time when macca warms the bench. If he reacts in a positive way it will do him good.

The 4-2-3-1 worked well last night in terms of containing then springing the counter attack, when Bell did come on he was in the hole and Moussa moved wide left so that could also work. But why bring Cody back and not use him

No...I've also been impressed with him this season and he deserves the starts he's had...put in some great balls and he has a football brain. It's good though that Bell is fit again and can compete for a start.

Was listening on the radio and from what i heard, he had a solid run out and Cody sounded dangerous too. Just what we need, more back up and options

football brain?

not sure that goes hand in hand with being overly selfish

So what would your selection be for Swindon, given the players available?

Murphy, Cyrus, Cameron, Martin, Dicko, Baker, Jenno, Bailey, Moussa, Cody, Leon
Subs: Dunn, Clarke, Edje, Bell, Barton, Fleck, Wilson

From what i heard last night Cameron and Martin performed well despite relentless Bournemouth attacking, so i would stick with them. Still think Sheffers needs a rest and needs to earn a place in the team cus he isnt the best player he could be atm. Play Moussa ont he left cus he sounded very creative last night. Cody sounded dangerous when he came on so give him a go with Leon and keep the momentum up for him

Macca is struggling a bit at the moment but is more than good enough for this league.

Maybe rest him to the bench where he could be a decent impact sub for 25-30 mins.

Sheff does ok until the final shot or pass/cross. Often makes the wrong decision and on the rare occasions he makes the right decision the execution is terrible.

Has to have one of the worse shots on target to shots ratio in the league

I think McSheffrey has been shite all season....

....what is it? 2 goals? can't be arsed to check.

Never really creates anything positive, gives the ball away far too easily & far too often, gets pushed off the ball for fun, doesn't seem bothered....looks completely uninterested.....

The only thing hes stood out for this year is collecting pointless yellow cards....

.....He doesn't need resting...he deserves dropping...... & he needs a boot up the arse!

I cringe everytime he goes to take a free keep or a corner.

It invariably goes wrong. Sure he has some moments of brilliance and these moments have sometimes resulted with great croses that have led to a goal or two.

But half the time he just wants to be selfish and try and score a wonder goal and most of the other time he seems uninterested!

Sad really as I rated him once :/
