I am sick of this the doors of The Ricoh are open and they (ACL) wont talk to us bollocks...time to have an open debate with all parties, lets see who is bullshitting...otherwise we will continue to go round in circles until the club dies. lets get it all out in the open, The Sky Blues Trust MUST make this happen...NOW

It's the only way.
Pity an arbitrator didn't run it with the final outcome binding.
Unlikely the Trust have the experience yet to do it but getting someone in might be a good use of funds.

Surely both parties agree that the "Ricoh Football Arena needs to be run totally by the Football Club, including all revenue streams"
Can someone be 100% that this is what "both" parties really want or have one or both got a hidden agenda.

Lets put pressure on them both...and get it hosted by Stuart Linell, or someone similar, ACL are using public money they should be answerable to the public of Coventry and SISU are answerable to the fans...I suggest through the trust we ask the CT/CWR to make this happen....

We don't. It just gives further opportunity for all sides to make vague and meaningless statements, in the same way that the constant coverage so far has. Let them get on with it.

Just said this on a prevous thread but been shouted down for saying it.

All we hear is all parties moaning at each other through the press, think about time we had answers & an agreement to play somewhere next season would be nice as well...

We can not let either side keeping blaming each other its nonsense we deserve better - we deserve answers, and this is the way to do it. so trust members forget peaceful protests lets get them in a room lock the door and no one gets out until we know what has really gone on and try to get some sort of resolution.

This is a reasonable point and has been brought up in the past, time might be right to suggest it again. Especially now Mr Fisher is also doing Forums. The one tonught seems to be invite only but the others next week are for anyone who wants to attend.

I think we need all parties in the same room - the truth of who is killing our club needs to be outed, because the are both blaming each, and our club is dying!

Yes, easier to be economical with the truth in a statement or an interview than when looking someone in the eye.

Mightn't it be better suited to a radio debate though? Just thinking any audience is going to be an away match for SISU, and a hostile atmosphere gives an excuse for fluffing their lines.

PWKH won't attend ... as I said in another thread: Looks like any debate is only going to be in the court.

PWKH - if you were invited to a face-to-face debate with Tim Fisher, organised and moderated by the Trust, would you accept?

No. I tell the truth. There would be no point, I am afraid. I look forward to the various Court cases that seem to be in train and for the truth to come out because it does eventually.

you need to see the whites of their eyes...absolutely correct it has to be a open forum with fans, SBT, Cov Tel, BBC...ect lets ask the questions that at WE want answered - I guarantee sort of resolution would come from this - because they would have no where to hide, they couldn't just fob us off with any old rubbish (both sides SISU/ACL)...I would say to TF if you make this happen (the meeting) and we still can not reach a settlement the SBA will support you relocation plans...but this MUST happen first.

Whats he scared of?

It might be too late by the time they get to court...I'm sorry I had a bit of respect for him until I read that- very disappointing considering our predicament...it's not all about him and whether hes told the truth, and if he is telling the truth its his opportunity to prove that turn everyone against SISU - the fact remains they are both acting like children blaming each other...

All sides have too much to lose for it to ever happen. You have to always remember neither side gives a toss about you other than how much of your money can they grab.

The Charity, ACL and Council are all respondents in the Judicial Review and for legal reasons there would be a lot of things they could not answer. Whereas TF would not be so restricted he could say what he likes, ask questions he knows the other side cant answer because of the JR etc . I would understand why ACL, Council & Charity would not take part. It would be a PR disaster for them even if they did have all the evidence, could tell the whole truth etc the legal restrictions would mean they could not answer and make them look evasive and weak. They can not afford that to happen.

This is a good point.

ACL, Higgs, CC Council, CCFC Ltd, Administrator and FL can't say anything because they are involved in a court case.
TF can say what he likes, tell us his plans and continue on like nothing is happening, because CCFC Ltd are not involved. (Although they caused it and ummmm financed it !!))

My Dad works in offices at Council and he thinks they would not be allowed to go to any debate due to the court case.

Lets be clear, consensus is that the ACL rent is too high. However, even at full and existing rates for the whole if SISU's tenure, it would only account for one tenth if the purported losses.

That means 90% aren't associated with ACL in any way. There is blame on both sides, sure, and it's a shades-of-gret debate; but where principal blame lies for the clubs current position isn't something that needs further debate

Exactly, the rent is a minor problem, a symptom of years of mismanagement, not the cause of it.

Its a bit like replastering your wall when your house has major subsidence and thinking the problem is solved.

OK - lets not cloud the issue with court cases ect....I want to know - if ACL are saying the doors are open and SISU are saying that they are not SOMEONE is lying....this small issue could mean we play away from COVENTRY - something that many are not going to buy into...lets get this sorted and MAYBE we might get a stay of execution (for now) until the court case is heard...I am not asking for all issues to be resolved just this one, both sides have happily discussed this topic in public via newspapers/forums/radio ect...

ACL are saying the doors are open for Mr Appleton to do a deal to play at the Ricoh as he controls CCFC as happened for the final 3 games.

SISU are saying holdings need to do the deal as they own the club.

Both think if one does the deal that shows that company run the club.

TF is still a director of CCFC Ltd.. so surely his comments should be treated as predudical to the outstanding cases.

This still needs to happen we need (demand) clarity from all sides - can we broker a deal to stay at the Ricoh? - If TF / ACL / CCC are lying they need to be taken to task, all we have is TF version of events...Please someone push this forward maybe the Trust? I know it was mentioned at the forum but it was not pushed enough we need a definitive yes or no from all stakeholders.

This is a simple thing to do with the fans support - I almost feel that the supporters are enjoying this circus.
