Not my words those of Tony Mowbray a few days ago.

http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sp...coventry-city-transfers-tony-mowbray-11709796

He was also attributed with saying "The Sky Blues boss is looking to draft in six new players before the transfer window closes at the end of the month, including the full quota of loans."

http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/football/football-news/coventry-city-how-many-loan-10461342
The Football League rules state: "A maximum of 5 loan Players (Standard, International, Emergency or Youth) can be named in the Players listed on a team sheet for any individual match played under the auspices of The League."

I believe the emergency loan window has now been scrapped, so there are no short term loans (except presumably for a Goalkeeper) outside the window. Three players have been signed since that statement, but there is only 12 days of the transfer window left, so next week should be rather busy and it is probable the remaining signings will be loans.

We do need more players, but the right players, 6 is a lot more than half a team, I would prefer half that many of the right calibre than a load of Hendersons, Ramages and Hunts. The last 2 home games we created very little going forward its okay getting strikers but they need supply

Well in the last 10 days we have signed 3 players (page, agyei and turnbull) mix that in with mccaan being back to play also and it's been a good ten days.

Results aren't there and won't be there until September probably. We need another couple of players of quality. Another CB is a must playing 3 at the back and another midfielder and another striker (a plan b)

Get those three in with quality and we are set to January

Well loan quota we already have 3 in the door. Leaving 2 left to bring in. Are we to assume one of those will be left open for a certain Mr.Cole? Hopefully this striker can step up and get us goals. Would have preferred a proven striker as apposed to a young, learning one. So think I'd be looking there. Also think that defence could be suspect. Need a 'commanding' centre half desperately. Not sure what happened to this Finnish fella but getting a defender on the books keeps loan options open for forwards.

ts half a player more than half a team !
Seriously though I think we could do with 6, we're only 3 games in and injuries
Are already starting to make there mark on the squad.
Maybe 3 to go straight into the team, 3 to add to the squad.

CB,RWB, AM please. Don't care if theyre loans or not. If we are going to a back 4 then a RB not a RWB. Kane and the Finn would've been OK, hope it's because theyre not good enough that they've fallen through and not because we are skint, for the AM I'll take any random kid from the Premier in the vein of Kent/Murphy.

There are going to be a lot of out of contract players still around after the transfer window closes that we will still be free to sign so the next 12 days isn't the end.

I'm disappointed TM feels he doesn't need another rightback/wing back. Rose is okay there but DKE is very light weight and whilst Willis can play RB I don't think he's a wing back if they keep playing as they are.

Ah that one, that if they are a free agent nobody wants them...

I remember when people went bananas we signed Leon Clarke because he was free and not wanted.

Wasn't Stokes 'not really wanted' by Forest Green Rovers?

We now have McCann, Page, Dan, McBeans on loan. Mogga did say he might get 6 loan players in and one would miss out on the match day squad. If that's the case then only 2 more loans to come in. That will be the new central defender and another central midfield player imo.

He might be tempted by another flair player with pace and skill.

Not sure if there's anything left in the budget for any free transfers?

Mogga said another 6 players a week or so ago and he's signed 4 players since.

Will another 2 players be enough for a decent squad?

I expect some players to move out still. Thomas especially on loan.

There's too many boys in the team, not enough men.

I'd say we need at least one in every zone, I.e. One defender, midfielder, attacker.

Who knows though.

When we played a match recently team said there are 6 players in the team who you wouldn't expect to be in the starting 11.

So he had 6 signings in route since he said that we signed

Turnball
McCann
Reid
Page

So I expect 2 more signings that will be first picks
