Really?

Now?

Shouldn't you guys have been doing this from, gee, I dunno......the first game of the season?!? What about at Forest when 3 points were there for the taking?

We've got a real sense of drama. Now we'll start trying to win, pull clear of relegation at the death and Dulieu then jumps out of a box screaming 'ta-da'

It is pretty obvious what he means, if it is 1-1 against Birmingham 5 mins left at the beginning of the season the team would probably settle for protecting what they have whilst now they can't afford to do that and have to push for the win.

They were protecting a 1 0 loss at leicester and forest though?

Just because they didn't score does not mean they were not trying to do.
Shit examples as we lost both of those games 2-0, which could then be argued we conceded again because we were chasing the game for the equaliser.

There is a distinct difference between not trying and not being good enough...

We haven't chased a game all season.

We were playing it across the defence and for Leicesters 2nd it was from playing it from the strikers back to Murphy.

Against forest we did go for it and pile on the pressure, just after we went 2 nil down

Yep. We love to retain possession when we are losing...in our own half. Despite all the guff about entertaining football Thorn is a cautious defender at heart.
