My particular favorite......'Hopefully Coventry refuse to pay the money owed to NTFC, DC gets a court order, Football league impose a transfer ban. Coventry go into administration again, plummet out of the League go bust and die all on their own patch'.

Their just bitter that their club's name has been soiled by this whole saga and they will always be remembered for that.

Northampton Town assisted in taking a club away from its community.

Ahh, you maybe right. Here was me thinking they were going all the way to the capital and the White House, but it could just be Commisioner Gordon who wants to sue us.

I reckon it was them who kicked us out due to the fact that the people on the hill were getting a game with a much better view for free.

Ginger Midget I think would make a good adversary for Batman and Robin.

we should take their groundsman while we are pissing them off he did a great job at keeping the pitch in a playable state last season been as it was been used twice as much as it should. didn't our old groundsman go to Leicester ?

I thought he went to work for ACL, maintaining the Ricoh pitch.

After working for the club since a kid he sadly left to work for Leicester. He looked after the abandoned Ricoh pitch for a year and was told we would never come back.

I was going to click "thank you for this post" but I don't want it to appear as a "like" because it's not happy info, so I'll just say it instead - thanks!

As a cobblers fan that thread and a few others on there have been pretty embarrassing. Thankfully not all fans share that view. Its pretty depressing to think we had the first supporters trust who saved our club and later worked with clubs like afc wimbledon to help them set up their trust, then 20 years later our fans are coming out with shite like that because a few 15 year olds on twitter have given them abuse.
This was my favourite one:
"I had no real opinion on Cov before all this but they'll always be a club I have a dislike towards now. Yes, they should never have left the Ricoh and their fans have not been treated well, but there are ways to conduct yourself in such a situation- those fans should have been able to take the moral high ground and they can't. And I'm not just talking about three morons on here Marquis (although I think in truth the number was probably higher than that). From making token threats to sue NTFC, to vandalising the ground (I wonder how much time our janitorial staff have spent removing 'CCFC' graffiti), to encouraging visiting fans to Sixfields to boycott games, they've alienated people (i.e. us, NTFC fans) who could have been a real asset to them in terms of forcing SISU's hand on the Ricoh much sooner.

Good riddance, please do stay away."

Jesus.

This whole shit situation had nothing to do with fans, Cov or Northampton. NTFC has been used as a pawn in an attempted, aggressive, failed asset possession by a hedge fund. I have and never well have, anything against the fans of NTFC....but the owner needs to have a good, long, look in the mirror.

One of the strangest things I've ever read. Wasn't sure whether he had been a boycotter of Shitfields or not but he's going to watch Northampton each week because we are back at the Ricoh? Either way he's a twat

I don't think they need to. Their old ground only had three sides and that was more than adequate for decades.
