We are not getting a new manager (1 Viewer)

Sorry if this is covering old ground again.

Andy Thorn is Coventry City's manager and will be until at least the end of the season/a completed takeover.

Coventry City cannot afford to sack a manager nor can they afford to employ a new one.

Getting a bit sick of every thread descending into Thorn should/should not be sacked. Can we just all agree to get behind the team for the rest of the season.

I think everyone is just venting their anger at the moment, it will all calm down by the end of the week. Just that it will all start again Saturday night the way Ipswich are playing!

Disagree with the OP. If Thorn was sacked Carsley would take over, so it is entirely wrong to say we are not getting a new manager. It could happen. Any new bloke at the helm though would come from inside the club. unless of course they took up Bobby Gould's offer of doing it for free.

but thats not sisus way of ownership, thorn is a bllody scout!! never a manager, therefore even if thorn were to go surely its the boot boy and the ball boys next to have a go at managing the club!! we are a laughing stock

You do not know this.

Unlikely to be true. A new manager would effectively be taking on AT's salary, making it just a question of severance pay, which cannot be a significant sum (and probably cushioned further by promising AT another role in the organisation). Additionally, SISU have been willing to make wages available for the likes of Hreidarsson; it is not a one-way money-sucking vacuum.

It is possible to support the team and be critical too, you know.

Don't like the argument that Thorn is not fit to be manager because he was a scout. Nigel Adkins was a physio, his team are on course for back-to-back promotions.

Something has to change if we are going to stay up. We must not give up on this division yet it will not be a piece of cake to get back to where we are now! I'm afraid that what happened last night was yet another case of deja vu. It has become so predictable. We need to break it up and make a change now. AT should be offered his old job as head coach and we should all move on. The Chairmans job is to make the right decision at the right time. Now is the right time.

He was never Head Coach, we was Scout.
