Frustrating.

Mve and Rudoni poor.
Shocking for their second from sheaf and lati
Bta was a pointless sub

Torp actually improved us and got us forward and up the pitch but a bad header (Rudoni should have called for it)

Collins - not even going to rate, fed up of him now. Can't catch, can't punch, couldn't even kick tonight. Played 6 games let 2 in 5 times didn't have a shot to save in the other. I never normally call our players out but tbh he can just fek off.

Collins 5 had nothing to do but did nothing
MVE 5 looks tired and out of sorts
Thomas 5 was ok but gets no more than 5 for the second goal
Lati 5 see Thomas
Bidwell 6 did reasonably well against Fellows
Sheaf 6 was ok but again just doesn't look fit
Eccles 4 looked leggy, no confidence at all and so ponderous, needs a spell out of the team
Rudoni 5 got into some good positions but did nothing with it, unbelievable if he didn't scream at Torp.
Saka 6 did some things well probably our motm
Bassette 6 has to do better with his chances
EMC 5 did well really negotiate to pay £5m for him

Simms 5 can't remember us actually putting a cross in when he was on
Torp 6 helped us move the ball quicker
BTA 4 even worse than EMC

I am still baffled how the goals were Collins fault tonight but the centre halves have the joint highest rating.

Is Rudoni’s 5 the amount of times he didn’t beat the first man from a corner?

Because they won pretty much everything. Grant ran past them for the second (which Collins should have still saved imo) but Sheaf should've tackled him.

Tell me one thing Collins did right tonight?

Apart from the basics and kicking it into touch and kicking it to their forward. Tell me what he did well. I'll wait.

They didn't win everything, they put out the red carpet for Grant to have a free shot in the box and he puts it in the far corner.

It's fucking weird.

Collins 5 - Not at fault for either but does not communicate/organise at all. Only thing he’s good is taking ages to play one of his hospital passes.

MVE 5 - needs dropping. But no competition. Think that’s part of the problem.

Thomas 6 - passing was better today but should’ve done more to stop second.

Lati 6 - Lati performance I guess.

Bidwell 6 - defended well, still think we need better.

Sheaf 5 - struggling to get around the pitch. No leadership.

Eccles 5 - struggling under Lampard.

Rudoni 4 - Lost the ball way too much. Would hate to know how much we spent.

EMC 5 - still another gear to go.

Tats 6 - caused the left back problems but him and MVE not linking up like they did last year.

Norm 5 - impact sub for now I think.

But also nothing really right, either.

He doesn't dominate the box, he's not decisive off the line, he's not brave and he's a dreadful shot-stopper.

Obviously nothing he could do about the first one, which was a fluke, but second, though abysmal defending exposed him, it wasn't unsavable.

Thomas most touches with 2nd highest pass rate. Most aerial duels won most tackles. Anything else?

Yes I do, but wouldn't blame him for that. I think a better keep saves it, nor that it was his fault. He offers nothing.

Completely bottled and let their player run through and score though..... Him, Lati or Sheaf should have dealt with it.

Both centre halves were poor. Mistakes from them both costing us goals again

It's a weird game to score .
First goal was a total fluke
Second goal was shocking from Sheaf , Lati and Thomas
In between we played better and were definitely unlucky to score at least one goal
For me Bassette can't play up top on his own without Wright alongside him , he just isn't clever enough yet with his all round play .EMC looked lost again tonight despite setting up what should've been a goal , and there is no sign of a left sided partnership forming .
Sheaf or Eccles needs to be the starting choice not both with Torp and Rudoni starting , just be braver Frank .
Only real positive is Sakamoto is starting to look really sharp again

That's on Sheaf far more than Thomas. The same Sheaf who shot over the bar (again) and headed over an open goal

He does look forward more than Lati but the movement is painful from our front 4/5

Lati then stands and watches him run past him.

Just put the ball in the stands and the player as well.

Very odd that people are blaming Collins for tonight.

The keeper was the least of our problems.

What the hell has happened to Sheaf? I have always rated him, but of late, he's just been a shadow of himself.

And tell me I'm wrong, but aren't his shots getting increasingly higher over the bar with each and every game?

Touche

I just don't like players getting over the top criticism . Whether it's EMC tonight , Lati in general who hasn't been as bad as some suggest and Collins tonight who was blameless for the goals
