Wilson 6
Mve 5 when is this guy gonna break the shackles and use his pace to beat a man? Easily beaten for the goal
JDS 5 not the future, no threat going forward, none
Lati 6 good pro but limited
Thomas 6
Binks 6
Torp 8 impressive heart beat of team
Eccles 7 did ok
Palmer 7 some good some bad but terrific effort and improved fitness
Ohare 4 non existent either Ill or injured
Simms 6 led line well, finishing awful

much better 2nd half, this game almost same as Ipswich/Leeds games we just set up to not lose, robins fucked up and clearly doesn’t believe in his players so frustrating

Simms upfront teams just know what’s going to happen No threat he just jogs around the pitch. Palmer and O Hare cover more ground in ten mins than that clown. No point bringing Godden on he would never get any service.
Poor team selection and WBA could have took the piss if they were on it.

Wilson 6 - No blame for either goal but he's still our 2nd best keeper.
MVE 6 - Badly beaten for the 1st goal, but yet another game where our RWB is our best attacking outlet.
Thomas 5 - Been poor for multiple games now. Lacking confidence.
Lati 5 - I miss Fadz.
Binks 4 - Beaten so many times. Multiple fouls. Not worth signing permanently.
Dasilva 5 - Beaten for the 2nd goal. No threat going forward.
Eccles 5 - Did he do anything?
Torp 5 - Played a couple nice passes but one of his poorer games since joining.
Palmer 6 - Won the penalty, looked good on occasion, lost the ball on others.
O'Hare 5 - Anonymous. Those LaLiga scouts will be wondering why they came over.
Simms 5 - HIT THE TARGET ELLIS.

Wright 5 - Anonymous.

I think Mark Robins should receive a knighthood and the keys to the city.

Wilson is shite Binks is shite, JDS is shite, Simms is shite, Eccles is shite, Thomas is shite, Palmer is shite, MVE is shite...and yet here we are in 9th place, in the quarterfinals of the FA Cup and 16 points clear of the bottom 3.

Wilson 5
MVE 5 where has the player gone that played in the first half of the season?
JDS 4 how did he manage to keep his place in the team after Preston?
Lati 6 steady, but is he a centre half?
Thomas 6 defended ok - I like Bobby, but dear me, his distribution is very poor
Binks 5 - why is Kitching dropped?
Torp 6 - passing was off tonight
Eccles 7 tried to keep us going forward
Palmer 7 motm
Ohare 5 never in the game, the scouts won’t be impressed
Simms 6 needs some composure with his finishing

No the reason is we failed to add to the sufficient depth to the squad in January by sticking to a rigid model. But hey it's a success nonetheless because we own all our players apparently.

If we were that bad we would be near the bottom three wouldn't we?

I am hoping for top 10 finish now. If we could do that and somehow beat Wolves, it would be a really good season.

People were predicting we were going down and be lucky if we won another game all year not so long back.

I thought we might just fall short of the playoffs this season and that looks like it might well be the case.

Get some decent additions in the summer and I think we could have a really good season next year

I like Kitching and Thomas and think they will be better next season and then we have Sheaf and Sakamoto and Torp, who all look more than good enough for this level and I rate Eccles too.

Don't think it will take too much to make us a contender for the playoff places next campaign.

5 or 6 quality signings needed for a proper go next season.

A decent striker for a start

Ohare has got 5’s all around but comments “never in the game”

Hes coasting to that free contract in the summer, if he does it last game I’m running on 2 footed neck height.

Quite.

A number of posters seem to think everyone is shit and Robins doesn't know what he's doing.

Which is it lads? Pick a lane.

It was largely awful.

1 for the guy behind me who seemed to blame palmer for everything despite possibly being our only remotely good player

I can’t believe Torp is getting ratings higher than a 5. Had a decent spell 65-80 mins but was absolutely abysmal the rest of the game. Looked way off the pace, was awful defensively, and even his set pieces were very poor tonight.

Not a knock on him as a talent, just one of those nights.

Torp gets an 8 from me, just for the piece of skill to beat 2 players when it seemed impossibly tight.

An 8 also to the West Brom commentators. They praised us for our performance, said we were clearly a good side as not many teams have rattled West Brom when they have taken the lead. Also acknowledged that we’d created more chances than them. They weren’t overly impressed with Simms.

Mate. We’ve beaten Oxford, Sheff Wed and Maidstone in the FA cup.
We've done ok in the league. But many new players have been disappointing, Robins still isn’t clear on his best 11 and we seem to be playing worse in the run in.
I guess it’s lack of optimism looking forward that we have the quality needed.

Maybe Robins is pissed with King Doug and making team selections to prove a point...just a thought with tongue firmly pressed into cheek before anyone remotely takes that serious...
Has MVE been shagging Porkys missus or something??

I agree with most of that although I would give
Latibeaudiere 6
MVE 5 (knocked down one for terrible defending for first goal and got done 2 or 3 times early on).

I have always liked the look of Binks, but he was poor last night. As you said in another post, he got pulled all over the place last night and sucked into silly needless fouls.

just watched the highlights again ( did see match live - yes glutton for punishment)

Just wondered why ratings don't show either assist or give marks to the officials

they certainly the linesman with yellow flag was clearly on there side or just biased

in my opinion they were a major factor in last 2 league matches - when did we last have one favouring us?

Will be interesting to see how Robins sets the team up in the next away game at Watford. I am assuming that we will be very attacking against Rotherham
