Not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere but we've got a Pre season friendly v Watford on 30th July. Bit of an odd fixture.

Yeah that's one of the odd things. I think that's where they play reserve games though. Not very often in PSF that the higher league team is the 'home' team.

Watford are having a new stand built along one side during the close season and the ground won't be ready/open in time for this friendly, hence the game at Borehamwood FC

Oh well. Biggest club in our pre season games so far and will be out of the country Planning to take my little boy to one of the friendlies to see if it is worth taking him to a proper game yet. One thing for sure. It is a non uniform day today. He will be the only one wearing a CCFC top He will also be visiting the school he will be starting in September.

Has anyone got an idea when the season starts? Just this second looked at the fixture list. Looks like a friendly is out of the question for me. The Watford game is August 2nd and last season started on August 3rd. We get back into England on the 3rd/4th.

I think last season started early because of the World Cup.

I'd guess that next season will be a week later.

It's £16 a ticket, ridiculous.

I'll probably go to Nuneaton, but doubt if I will go to any others.
