What I don't understand, is what's happened to the side that could pass to each other last season? There are so many unforced errors with balls going straight into touch or to an opposition player. I've noticed this over many games this year. Why is it?

Even Marosi seems to have lost his touch. He spills more frequently than a rosy-faced gentleman balancing six pints through a crowded bar at closing time.

Max has his missing boots on again. Let's hope he changes them at half-time.

Walker and Max have done well put themselves about and linked up very well at time.. Their centre backs know they been in a game so far.

Wasn't tested.
We were having a hell of a lot ofthe ball in games and conceded 2nd least shots in the league.

It is a shame - I rate him with the ball at his feet.

This would be a very solid point here, anything more is exceptional.. Just need to concentrate for the next 45, keep the tempo and don't make any silly mistakes

We’ve played well and worth the 0-0 missed the chance of the match with the Max header will need to up our game as I suspect Watford will, fingers and everything else crossed for second half.

Which will come from playing games it's why we have started looking better in the last few games, finally starting to get match fitness after the 6 months break

Hamer and Sheaf are improving their understanding of each other and linking up nicely. O'Hare always links well with Giles. Nice to see Walker and Biamou doing so too. The 3 at the back are looking a good unit. I wish one of the was a bit pacier but otherwise 3 decent players.

Looks more and more like it's McFadzean who drags the team so deep, back 3 playing a decent way up the pitch considering the pace of the forwards and Sheaf and Hamer are playing like central midfielders instead of defensive midfielders. We need to be braver and quicker with the balls inside to their feet. Sheaf especially has been in acres and we're turning down quick passes to him. Need a bit more movement around the box too when we are in possession as our build up play can be a bit too slow. All in all a really solid first half considering the opposition. Believe in yourselves lads!

Yeah, I get that when we're being pressed. Is it just that this affects confidence and so we fluff our lines even when we're not being pressed?

Need a massive 45 defensively. Stay disciplined.

Hamer loses 5% of his game when he reigns himself in. Still class and solid.

The last couple of games not looked like a booking liability.

His set pieces still critical.!

It's going to impact everything isn't it? Psychological, under the press, the opposition literally being quicker/better tactically. I think we can see that we are improving though.
