To state the obvious…a win would be absolutely massive.

Would send a huge statement to this forum.

Crucial game this.

If we don't win I can't see us making it out the bottom three

Get a win though and I think autos are nailed on.

Are you daring to question Steve McLaren's judgement?

Lati is a DM

I don’t think they are that good tbh, I can’t see their decent start lasting

Regardless of Saturday’s result I think we will be above them at the end of the season

This will be a difficult game for us, away from home to a team 14 places above us in the league table.

I’m praying that we can find some better form and sneak a narrow win but I will happily settle for a point.

14 places is nothing after 4 games. Only 2 points behind them after we win

Performances still more what I’m interested in here. Or at least, making the opposition have to earn the points. I can’t say Stoke or Norwich had to do much

I don't understand why we always have these slow starts. Against Everton we were exactly where we wanted to be. Werder we battled really well and looked a good team. I can't say we've seen that since the start of the season.

There isn't much intensity of pressing or aggression in pre-season. Any team that can press intensely for long periods of time, will have success against our playing style.

I’m certainly keen for a good performance but equally we need to start picking up points soon.

Watford are favourites for the win, so I would be happy with a draw.

God almighty, the negativity is just depressing. We're in a similar place to the beginning of last season, not playing as badly as our points tally suggests:

Sakamato and Sheaf unlikely to make the squad reading Robins’ interview. No mention of Rodrigues fitness

The only other senior player who is currently out injured is winger Raphael, about whom Robins said he won't be rushing the summer signing who needs to become physically "robust" before making a return.

Possibly just MR being coy and not giving anything away. I reckon at least one of them will make the squad.

"We have just got to run the rule over them and see how they do and they will be ready to go when I decide that they are ready to become in a matchday squad. So today I am going to see them again today and make decisions off the back of that. It may be too soon for the pair of them but I have got to look at that today.”

It isn't though, is it? It's being greatly exaggerated. The underlying stats in fact do not show that the midfield is being overrun. There are some tweaks that need to be made and performances from some players need to get better, but it is nowhere near as bad as some of the hysteria on here would tell you.

Be real nice if Robins decided to play his best defence rather than the defence that is simply not capable of keeping a single clean sheet.

Can’t say I’m overly enthused about the prospect of an away game against a side who’ve started the season well without potentially Sheaf, Sakamoto and Wright in the starting line up. Hopefully Wright will be ok to play after travelling back.
