Actually think this will work well today, although hope a back 3 isn't the long term plan...

People complained about our previously small squad and then complain even more when we use our new big squad to mix things up

People complained about the defence and then lose their heads when we change the defensive system

People complain about lack of leadership but are desperate for Lati to be dropped when he is clearly one of the few leaders in the squad

We are going through a rough patch and we have to trust Robins to find a way through it

I think lati’s been alright recently. Can see the logic in him playing, assuming fit after internationals, as we don’t really have a natural right sided player without Saka so need MVE further forward. Only other alternative would be Eccles but not when sheafs out.

Let’s hope Kitching and Thomas can rediscover their solid partnership in the middle Great chance for EMC to show what he’s got as well

Our fan base is slowly turning into what we disliked no more than 12 months ago.

For anyone that watches football, he’s clearly a very limited player, especially in comparison with the rest of squad.

That being said, he’s made an okay start this season when playing at centre back (much better than the end of the previous season). Just makes it slightly baffling if as expected he starts at RB…

It’s pretty clear Robins thinks highly of him as a person.

I have no issue with him as a back up CB. Not sure about him as a RB/DM but he does a job. Also would have thought we would have worked on new system whilst he was away.

Lati looked good last season as an CB in an 3,
and was great at Leeds in DM. He can’t play RB or CB (in a back 4) for me. Good squad player,, but I hope he’s not playing at RB today

Think it shows the Defensive weaknesses we flagged when didn't get another CB in. Oddly is the Right Midfield position thatvseems to have caused the issues with no Saka, no Rafeal and the fact EMC and Wright are both definitely left sided players if we want to see them at their beadt. Wonder if Tavares is worth a go on the right

I don't think latiboudoir has been that bad so far, he's been better than last season though I still don't rate him. Feel.much happier with a combination of thomas/kitching/kinks.

Dasilva in for Bidwell suggests 3atb but it could just be a straight swap
