Due to a scheduling conflict and general disorganisation, I will be in Hackney during the game. Anyone know of anywhere local that might be showing it?

Would be nice to be in the presence of other Sky Blues when Brad Collins punches the ball into our net / Simms fails to control a simple 5 yard pass.

I would however also watch the game in a pub with miserable Boro fans too if that is the alternative option. I’ve learnt to understand their voices now.

Unsure if I can get out of my engagements until the day mind so I might have to settle for the ever accurate SBT match thread updates.

Probably depends first off whether it is one of Sky's main games.

I’ll be in Sfantu Gheorghe, Romania. Zero chance anywhere will be showing it. Going to have to rely on twitter

You can still get it even if it is. If you have a half decent VPN just set it to Luxembourg as they don't have any rights to show Sky games in the Championship on iFollow.

If chiefdave is in Romania though he won't need a VPN then?

If Romania don't have the rights like Luxembourg don't no. I've never been to Romania so don't have a clue.

The VPN works even if its one of the main Sky games as you quoted.

Loads of bars with weird amounts of taxidermy in Hackney. Don't see them showing the game, mind! but if you want spots for after that are about as far from the Cherry Tree as you can get, fill ya boots!

Thanks chaps but I’ll be at a hockey rink watching GB so the chances of good enough WiFi to stream the game are slim.

On the rare occasions he manages to overcome the shame of supporting Leicester and actually open the door to leave his semen encrusted bedsit, I imagine the pubs he frequents are pretty squalid. Basically, I won’t be taking his advice on anything.

Haven't lived in London for 7 years so this list may be out of date. But pubs I used to watch football in:

Duke of Wellington (by Haggerston station)
Heart of Hackney
Pub on the Park
Molly Bloom's
The Crooked Billet

Would definitely ring ahead and ask them to put it on a screen for you - as most just put the prem game on as standard

I was in the Empire Casino in Leicester Square a couple of weeks ago and the Sports Bar seemed happy to show whatever people wanted. They had both PL & Championship games on so I reckon you could get it shown there.

True, but only because it’s too expensive these days to get up to much there

The Hare near Cambridge Heath station any good to you? Not massive but lots of screens even in the garden. Will definitely be showing it

Just a heads up, the Boro game is being shown on Sky Sports Main Event from 11.30....so, get the pub gaffer to sort it!

Perhaps @hackneyfox could enlighten you on a battle cruiser to watch the match? Even join you for a pint?
