I think they are the staff rather than volunteers.

Pretty embarrassing they allowed it to be filmed for the paper.

Is it at all possible for them to go any slower?

Geez that is half hearted.

I cant believe considering the value of getting the game on (Legends Day - Decent Crowd - Teams Positive Momentum) that a call for volunteers didn't go out.
A few snow clearing machines (I'm sure they exist) plus a few hundred people with proper shovels would surely have got the job done.
I believe we missed a trick here - even Carlisle got the game on with this simple message - Carlisle United CAN YOU HELP? We're clearing the snow at Brunton Park on Friday
CCFC shoot themselves in the foot again!

Won't knock anyone that did chip in, but I suspect that one or two 'decision makers' are probably a bit embarrassed by what decisions they did/didn't take.

Isn’t a snow clearing machine a flamethrower?

Or several blokes all taking a wee.

I reckon if we could have got 50 or 60 tanked up blokes down there we could have pissed it.

Half of the snow would have been up their noses before they realised it wasn’t the right snow.

Yes but they are Lincoln fans, we know it was their clubs fault the game was postponed.

And the Lincolnshire Police and Wasps.

The Lincoln fans have played a mighty fine game here, even going to the lengths of sending some fans down here on Friday night to stay at the Ricoh hotel so it would look like they wanted the game on, even though they desperately wanted it off.

Very sneaky.
