How many more times is this clap-trap going to be said on here, Wasps could not have bought West Ham's ground which by the way is the Boleyn Ground not Upton Park that is the area it is in, their ground was sold last February for re-development and I believe for millions.

FFS look forward and let it go.
Dwelling in the past just prolongs the agony.

So you're saying they weren't prepared to pay the market price for a ground closer to home... and therefore should be welcomed elsewhere, where they can get a cheaper financial deal?

Hence the question mark.

I thought better of you than the insults too... Council Jack. You've always been polite... unlike some.

Being the plan and being offered it aren't the same.

They planned to offer it to them and we can only assume that a similar deal could have been negotiated in the early days of Sisu.

Obviously after the hostile takeover attempt and continued actions they would never be the preferred bidder.

Exactly, planning and offering is completely different things. So they weren't offer the same deal?

We won't moan if SISU move us somewhere where land prices are dirt cheap then will we?

Really ?
I just couldn't follow Sisu blindly on that as I didn't know what the plan was.
We didn't need to be there and we certainly have no option now but to stay at the Ricoh.

We need to move on and watch (enjoy?) the football.

Did they actually get offered, yes or no? You made the statement about it being offered to them many times.

Sisu have had exactly the same offer as Wasps and on many occasions

We should moan for the sake of the club as if the financing of the stadium does't kill the club the stadium in the middle of nowhere will.

They (sisu) will not move us anywhere again other than non-league. It's about time you realised that, turned your attention to the perilous state our, and I assume yours', team is in and you could start by spearheading a campaign to get these shitehawks out or our club and city.

It is much more fun just reversing things you and italia say to justify wasps moving here into if it was sisu and watch the reactions.

£40million a true bargain compared to what some decided the Ricoh was worth, anyway.

Of course we should, not a single person thinks that this doesn't suck for wasps fans, even if it is the only way to save the club (and I'm not saying it is).

We're so desperate we'd all get behind a unholy trinity of Abu Qatada, Rupert Murdoch and Vernon Kay, to be honest.

Yes because so many people are going to want to takeover a club who will never have any chance of owning their stadium and pay rent to a rugby franchise.

I've not justified Wasps moving here. I've accepted it and now looking forward.
I believe you should only get involved in things you can influence not things you can't.

CCFC should be in the same situation as Wasps are in but thanks to SISU we are not.

What we can influence is the price of the Ricoh being depressed even further, so the football club get an even better deal down the line...

It's far from ideal but we are where we are and it can't be changed.

FFS the football club will never own the stadium.
Depress the Ricoh (and club) and Sisu will make a fortune and the club will pick up the bill.

That's not the past, is it. It appears you only want to influence what you want to influence.

Alas, not your stopping participation, as promised!

What if I said Wasps should be in the same situation as <insert name of club here> but aren't because of Richardson? You're not bothered, are you?
