Taking them to Worcester?

Wasps' bidders supposedly looking at Sixways groundshare with Worcester

REPORTS in the media today suggest that the consortium looking to purchase Wasps are looking at Sixways as a potential home for the former…

To be fair, the article pretty much says it's a non-starter.

The pleasing thing about the article though was the bit where it said the 'former Coventry based club'. I love seeing words like that.

Wherever they end up, I'll be straight onto the message boards of the unlucky souls impeded by their arrival, to wish them the best of luck.

Does that meet the very loose “Coventry area” requirement?

Then they'll be bickering about youth recruitment areas again like when Wasps first moved.

They'll both lose those 'rights' if they lose their P shares won't they?

Shugs has just posted on Drunken Wasps that the signs are being taken down for routine planned maintenance and there is nothing to worry about

Would love to see him right at the end of the world, with the sun finally going out.

He would probably put it down to an eclipse and tell everyone the sun would be back again in the morning.

Has he decided who's paying for that maintenance? Doubt it's high on the list of Wasps new proposed owners

I’m sure when Mike Ashley’s team looked at the required work the first thing they thought was fuck the fire doors let’s get the basic maintenance on the wasps signs done.

I read earlier that they may try to groundshare with Birmingham city....or move to Liverpool.
Article in the "Ruck".

In all seriousness it's probable that the signage belonged to Wasps Rugby and is therefore an asset that the administrators could pass on to any new owners, or sell to raise funds. I'm sure people like Shugs would like a souvenir, (that's if he's a real person and not a PR company)

That wasn't helpful as it doesn't give the rationale just restates the facts we already know

It does say there's a CV13 though. Doesn't count.

Id imagine it’s to leave capacity. Output areas are based on number of households so as capacity is added you’d need new postcodes.

It's all over the local news here (Malvern, where I live). Wasps are coming to Sixfields! Bloody hope not! Can't get shot of the C-Units!

Where have you seen this? Can’t find nothing online.

Also can’t imagine Saints would be too happy about it either.

I think he meant to say Sixways Worcester.
It would be interesting however, if it was Sixfields and the RFU disallowed the move as Northampton already has a rugby club. That certainly wasn’t a consideration when they arrived here as no thought was given to the impact on Cov.

This wasps kit man/caretaker is going to end up getting in the shit if he continues to tweet stuff about what’s around the corner etc for wasps.

He probably means well but his paymaster may smack his legs soon.
