Yeah Gilbert knew before the council and wasps. Of course wasps would have known.

Which is fair enough and if true shouldn’t be too difficult for Sisu to prove. Be interesting to read what will be in their statement and see if it provides more clarity around this issue.

People saying gilbert been duped but not imo he is in on this with council and wasps. He is their mouthpiece

Havw to ask if eu complaint was neccesary? They have a right too of course but thought maybe we would start focusing on the pitch again finnaly

Hopefully a deal can still be reached. Although this does seem perfectly set up for the sheep to all blame sisu alone

It's a shit medium for making a decent point the character limit just leads to base statements and nothing in depth. It also restricts proper debates. It is part of the reason people in this and in politics can't engage in proper ideas. I much prefer the forum format.

So if the EFL take away the golden share, who do these deluded people think they will give it to? Coventry Utd. Coventry Wasps........Yeovil, AFC Fylde. Notts County probably

You’re absolutely right and that’s why the tone on there is more in favour of the council.

They think it will be given to Hoffman and the trust and everybody will live happily ever after.

What happens is that a few accounts start it off, demanding the golden share be taken (even though that's not how it works). Everybody gets worked up with it and when Hoffman pipes up, he's the saviour.

Why dont Wasps just fuck off.
We all knew that our club would be hamstrung for 250 years because of the sale of our stadium to Wasps. It's now coming to fruition.
Well done Coventry City Council. Our club will now be playing outside the city again thanks to these cretins.

Still a fortnight to go before d-day, one question though what power would an EU commission have if we are no longer in the EU which is being voted on again first week in June ?

There are so many people on social media pushing that golden share line. They have absolutely no idea that it's impossible.

Because that's what is being pumped into them. It's the viewpoint that is wanted which is why the same old accounts push it and mislead.

Then when Hoffman appears it will be "hand him the club".

Why won't CJ ever answer when I ask about the trust board member in the middle of it all? He's been trying to mislead for months. Moz didn't want to answer either, if they keep ignoring it they are going to end up being tarred with his brush.

Is it even possible for a complaint to be withdrawn? I’ve had a look on the website and can’t see any procedure for this but you presume there would be. Even so I doubt Sisu would withdraw this for talks to continue therefore groundshare it is and with no prospect of a new home been built anytime soon situation looks bleak.
I don't believe there is. Only if someone else provides incontrovertible evidence questioning the veracity of the complaint.

Wasps will not deal with the club as the club will not commit to a 10 year deal with some ridiculous terms. I have a bit of insight into wasps negotiating behaviour - wasps want a compliant regime and want regime change - they do not want a football club above them in popularity either

As posted above lots. The state aid laws existed at the point of the act taking place. We are in until October anyway

It amazes me how supine the fighters on the JHW, Trust et al are.

What other football club fans would even begin to empathise with the positions Wasps take after what's happened? It is mental.

Looks like they seemed to know about it judging by this:

WASPS have returned to threats to kick out Coventry City from the Ricoh Arena ground built for it amid confidential talks – unless its owner protects the rugby club from any potential damages resulting from a complaint to the European Commission.

How many of them have links? They get strung along every single time.

They went into hiding when it came out about wasps discussions before sixfields. Moz was too busy with work.

When it's sisu it's hotline.

Maybe if they got rid of people who may have links and can't push for the best of the club because of it?

They applauded wasps FFS, these are people who have let slip they have discussed a new club playing at the ricoh. These are people who have bragged about their business bank account due to the councel.

They shouldn't have links to any party. When you have ex council bosses, leaders, ex directors of other football clubs setup to try and take ccfc support who are heavily involved in the council what is expected?
